I donate on a regular at Octapharma Plasma. The people that work there are professionals and always make it a enjoyable experience instead of the latter. I appreciate the hard work they put in and I give the place a 5 star for that reason. I definitely recommend them if you are wanting to help lives and who can say no to some cash while saving lives? Definitely recommend

I had an amazing experience both times I have went to this facility. The staff is super friendly and easy going. Something else different about this facility is they actually have TVs on playing shows that you can watch while you’re donating.

The staff ( 1 or 2 people) are completely unprofessional, unprepared and in way over their heads! I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it’s impossible in this situation because you get treated like you’re no one! This is not the staffs problem. It goes way above their heads! I’ve went there 3 times and they didn’t have enough staff to open and you’re told to basically “accept it or go somewhere else!” There’s a few great employees- Thomas, Asia, and a few others but the inconsistency makes it unreliable! I donated two days ago got there at 7:30 in the morning and didn’t leave till 12:17…

Incompetent communication. Even if you call to confirm open and available the center will close or not be open. The last 2 times I attempted the 1st they were out of supplies, today they closed after calling to confirm times, driving 30 minutes and they closed 45 minutes early. No explanation just “sorry for the inconvenience”.

Kinda ghetto but most of the ppl are really coo and laid back. Just wish they had partitions where the kiosks were like CSL . It’s no privacy and it’s always a staffing issue which causes donations to take 3 &4 hours. They have a higher pay for new donations then the others. Overall 4 stars

I spent 2 1/2 hours on my first day, only to be turned away because I’ve had knee replacements. They’ve never been an issue at other places. If that’s a disqualification, that question should be on the initial intake. Not after I’ve given my information, I’ve had finger sticks and vitals/weight taken, completed the computer orientation, etc. It was too long for me to have been there to be deferred for something that could have ruled me out in the beginning. Not too happy about it.

It was a good experience for me. As a new donor there I was compensated $200. For my first two donations. The staff were very kind and professional & the building facility was clean and orderly and the other patrons were friendly, and there are chairs to sit on while you wait.

Constant staffing issues. Arrive at least an hour before opening so your total time is less than 3 hours. Decent pay. Would be better if they did appointments instead of first come first served.

I came in at 2:30pm. After waiting awhile at the desk, the employee asked me for my drivers license and ssc. Immediately after she said, “It’s just myself and her here today. We probably shouldn’t take any more new donors.”
