Everyone was nice but spent 2 hours up there answering questions then had to redo a 55 question questionnaire and another redo a health screen because one of their machines were broken. Then when I finally got in the donor chairs they say they couldn’t find a vein and told me I would still receive full payment for my time. I waited 24 hours, no deposit, called and they said they would give me $25. Like I said very nice people but a waste of my time

It’s easy. The app allows you to check in so you don’t have to spend 30 min it feels like at kiosk. But it would be nice to have some music playing not only for customer but employees. It feels so dead in there very depressing. Bio life is too far for me. But they have music. It helps when maybe your phone is about to die. Oh charging ports on chairs would be nice. Bio life has that.

We have been donating at Octopharma plasma for about 6 months. For the most part we have had good experiences. However some days we have a phlebotimist who apparently doesn’t want to be there and is pretty rude. When you are getting ready to have a needle placed in your arm you would feel more relaxed with a person who actually speaks to you and doesn’t have a sour face an attitude. I have also had that same person come to unhook me and even though I have already said latex allergy, she has gone to bandage me with the wrong band. Thankfully I have caught it and saved myself the pain.

The people that work there are really nice and friendly. They take good care of you while you are there. It doesn’t take too long to get to the back and start donating. Would definitely recommend this place over the rest of the plasma donation places!

Where do I begin? Most of the staff are rude and have no sense of urgency, incredibly tone deaf. They tell you that you have to have a pulse of 100 or below to donate, and they make a big deal if it’s 101! You can’t try again until the next day! For the already low rates that dropped lower, and them not informing me that the new donor bonus had changed (nor updating that info in the “new donor binder”) I’m left with nothing but constant frustration and disappointment when I wouldn’t be coming here if I weren’t already inching toward a desperate situation, they make it MUCH more frustrating! They can’t even hit your vein correctly 90% of the time. And at the very top of the list of bull, the “owner” pays absolutely NO attention to the content of any negative reviews, and instead leaves generic responses to direct questions at staff who are already rude and apathetic. Please hire more doctors to review test results in your centers. It takes weeks to get a response because the local octapharma doctor comes in once weekly. The employee that I spoke to said “What are you gonna do about it?” This is not a reflection of the individual as it is representative of an organizational problem.

Ok I am trying to get back in to giving plasma so iam waiting on my protein level to be high enough, however, I am very disappointed in how you have dropped the amount that you are paying people for using their plasma which is needed very much to help others. I don’t understand why you lowered the amount of what you pay people for giving plasma when prices are so high for everything I don’t really feel like it’s fair it was bad enough that you base it on weight but I assume that’s because of the amount of plasma you’re able to get for the people but now it seems you even drop the price more I hope that you will get a better system and get it back to where it is more fair. We all need help in this world, but as usual seems like greed in this world always gets the upper hand and the little guy loses out. I hope things will get better. Thank you for everything.
