I have been donating for a few months now and I have seen things progressively getting worse and worse. Employees quitting. Employees getting moved around without proper training and making costly mistakes. I lost count of how many resticks had to be done the last time I was there. I understand it “happens” sometimes but…wow! The gentleman on the table across from me was there for about an hour just waiting to get hooked up. I waited in pain for someone to come fix the white light that I had for over 10 minutes, turned out the needle was moved around by 3 different people and created a blood clot so I had to finish with the other arm. I take pride in donating, and it’s a shame they have lost so many employees that did the same. Management is running that place with a inexperienced skeleton crew. Seriously?? 2 people in the back at 7am, it gets everyone behind for hours because they have to jump from one area to the next. Please take a look at your scheduling and maybe hire a few more people with experience.

The staff is absolutely amazing. They explain everything to you and are right there if you need anything. The downside-the wait. I feel it would be better if you could make appointments.

I was out of town and visited the location in York, PA. The staff there were all professional, courteous and patient, despite the fact they were understaffed. The screening was efficient, only one person was ahead of me but it was down from there. Waited at least 40 minutes before being called to the donation area and 15-20 minutes before the phlebotomist came to begin my plasma donation.

This place is absolutely insane. I come twice a week, in hopes that they prove the opinions wrong, and so far it hasn’t been done. The doctors who do your physicals, they are wonderful. I have dealt with two of them and they are fantastic. The place is relatively clean which is a plus. However, the staff is absolutely the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen. Not just at a medical setting, they are more unprofessional than any retail, gas station, etc employee I have EVER met. You are in line for bare minimum an hour. Just to get vitals checked. I was in line for an hour and 45 mins before with EIGHT people in front of me because the two staff (which was incredibly shocking there were more than one at the front desk) were too busy standing there talking than taking vitals. 90% of the time there is one person doing vitals. But if there is a second person be aware you will hear how much they hate their job. How they can’t stand the customers. The one who always says about being a supervisor, will talk negative about other employees while they’re at the desk next to them. Then that lady will talk bad about the supervisor. I don’t mean to each other, oh no, they talk to the customers about each other. It is completely unprofessional. As for the ones who do the actual donation, I have never personally had an issue. Most of them are gentle and know what they’re doing. I have however seen one lady on two separate occasions freak out over something not going right which is concerning. As for management, I cannot comment on that because you never see them. They’re in their offices, doors shut. Maybe if they walked the floor they could keep a flow and they’d have more positive reviews as I doubt their employees will stand there and talk for 15 mins at a time between hooking people up if a manager is out there.

This is always the worst experience when we come. Management hiding in the back as the vital line wraps to the door. Toxic environment where employees consistently talk amongst themselves about quitting. 2 to 4 hours experience and most of that is time in line for vitals. Got into line at 9:30 and it is now 11:09 still have not been checked for vitals. One person doing vitals all the time! Come on this place needs some higher management looking into how this place is ran! Pathetic!

The staff is always very nice. Most of the technicians that do the sticks are gentle and caring. The con is that they are always VERY understaffed so it takes forever to get through the process of donating. Also the company rule of letting every new donor go first even if there are several at one time is very frustrating when you’ve been standing in line for an hour. It would be more fair to the loyal returning donors to alternate between new donors and then those that have been waiting in line. Overall it’s very clean and organized.

Usually have a great experience. Kind people, etc but they terribly need to have more than one person taking vitals, especially when they set open. I also had an express pass that wasn’t expired and wouldn’t work which was even more frustrating. But I will say, the staff there is always super pleasant and helpful, to the best of their ability.

Ridiculous location. In 3 years they’ve never been staffed. Managers do NOTHING to help. And don’t complain, you’re not allowed to that. Go to CSL.

Both times I’ve been in so far they’ve had some excitement with people having reactions to the anticoagulant. But they all handled it professionally and I think extremely well. I will say they seem to be understaffed so if it’s your first visit plan to be there awhile. But it’s worth it.
