Founded in 1964, New York Blood Center (NYBC) is a nonprofit organization that is one of the largest independent, community-based blood centers in the world. NYBC, along with its operating divisions Community Blood Center of Kansas City, Missouri (CBC), Innovative Blood Resources (IBR), Blood Bank of Delmarva (BBD), and Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC), collect approximately 4,000 units of blood products each day and serve local communities of more than 75 million people in the Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT), Mid Atlantic area (PA, DE, MD, VA), Missouri and Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rhode Island, and Southern New England.

I have been a donor for so many years but this Saturday was my last time. You take of your time to donate your blood with the idea of saving life but this people are arrogant and lazy. Before the use to give you your check results like, hemo,pressure and so. After I ask for them and they write it for me and this last time I was told I have to do it myself because according to them was a violation of hipa, unbelievable. That’s it that finish to fill my cup. NEVER AGAIN.

Neglectful rude phlebotomist while giving platelets w/monitor needed to watch not visible, no blanket & phone call collection-like rude attitude. Done w/NYBlood. There are options.
