We’re honored to use your generous donations to supply 25 medical facilities, all regional cancer centers, and local rescue aircraft. Marsh Regional Blood Center is the sole provider of blood for all 21 Ballad Health hospitals.

I’ve donated at this Marsh location 3 times now, I believe. It’s been a good experience each time. They are warm and don’t cut corners with their screening (which I appreciate). The place is very clean and peaceful. The donation chairs are comfortable and the phlebotomists are experts at finding the veins and making the poke as painless as possible. The shirts they give you for donating change each month and the designs are all pretty neat.

Phlebotomist is a liberal , she must have heard me talking about my family moving from a blue state to Tennessee , I was set up ready to have a double red donation since we need blood for the ppl in this country and Ukraine , BP was good , rbc s were In range and then all of a sudden she said she couldn’t draw me cause I mentioned my great grandfather had polycythemia, I was not diagnosed w it and all

Hung around for a couple hours filled out the paperwork stood in line went inside and then they informed me that sense I took a blood thinner they could not take my blood Well why not tell me that or have a sign or something until waiting till the last minute
