First of all, we respect the fact that people go in, like my husband, to donate blood for worthy cause. We appreciate the RNs and staff who better this community as a whole. Here’s what I don’t appreciate. My husband has a heart condition and the RN who helped him out this morning noted that she thought his iron levels were high due to clotting of the blood. Of course with a heart condition this put him into a tizzy, so he came home and started calling all of his doctors. He also dragged out his past records for all of the other times when blood was drawn. In the back of his mind he’s now worried that there is something wrong. Please stick to drawing blood and not diagnosing people…you are not his doctor and now I have to put up with his panic attack.

Had an 11:00 appointment and I had to wait over an hour to be put in a room. Where I had to wait another 10 mins to be asked questions. Priority was given to a gentleman who had just arrived.
