WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I mostly blame management for having only 2 techs on duty on a Saturday. Took over an hour, just to get in a seat, then, for the first time EVER, the tech couldn’t find a vein and was just poking around. She was flustered and gave up without even offering to try the other arm. She chose the arm to try. Wasted over an hour and a half.

It’s all Community blood donation centers great place to donate blood. There are nonprofit organization of the staff is very courteous and friendly. I am doing another Blood mobiles and in need actual Center. I have never had a bad experience here. When donating platelets or plasma they are for your TV’s and movies watch as well as a plethora of snacks and drinks or are you too enjoy and while you’re donating. I highly recommend this place.

Terrible experience. Went to donate whole blood on 2/17/23. Nurse did an improper stick resulting in heavy bleeding. Couldn’t proceed with regular donation, instead telling me I was done. In chair for 2 minutes. A complete waste of time with a painful bulge on my arm as proof. Don’t go here

Incompetent. I always try to do my part and donate but their hours only allow me to go on my lunch break. I was given the wrong location for their bus so obviously no one was there. Then was put on hold while they figured out why the bus wasn’t there. Then to be told it was at another location and I was given the wrong location when I called to confirm the day before. So I wasted my lunch hour trying to do a good deed because they dont have a clue and hours that don’t allow 9-5 people to donate.

On Memorial Day, I went to give blood like I normally do every few months. It is extremely important that if you can donate, please donate. When you give blood the company has incentives for donation. I normal have no issues with getting the gifts, but this company did not comply with what was to be given to donors. It was to be that a $25 gift card was to be given, which I only got $10 and a tee shirt. I usually give with One Blood but did not see a bus. It was very deceiving to have people come give blood and not get what was being offered . It’s not about the gift, but about deceivment… I will not be donating to Life South ever again!!

I had the pleasure to donate blood today at the Bus parked at Sam’s Club. The phlebotomist that assisted me was a young lady by the name of “Cat”. I have donated blood many, many times but the young lady that assisted me was outstanding. She was extremely pleasant and wonderful to talk to. She had a wonderful understanding of dealing with individuals. Life South should be extremely proud to have an employee like “Cat”.

I think they got rid of me because my appt was Fri afternoon. Claimed my pulse was 40. It never has been. 2 people checked it and claimed it was 40. I check it all the time and os never close to that. Before that they tried a mistaken travel deferment. Drove 30 minutes for nothing when they said urgent need. I am just not buying the pulse thing, I know better.
