First time donating blood ever, responding to all the news of severe blood shortages. The staff was curt and rushed me into a room, and made me feel very anxious. I barely failed the pulse threshold BECAUSE the nurses were so frantic, and they told me to come back another day. If the vibe in this location is always so severe, I doubt I’ll ever pass. Clearly they don’t need my blood that badly.

LifeServe has always been quick and efficient on my visits. They schedule donations and staffing to ensure there’s rarely a wait or delay. Make sure you show up for your appointment on time, and don’t forget to drink extra water in the 24 hrs before a donation, and eat food within a couple hours of your appointment!

A quick and (mostly) painless experience. The folks here are very friendly and work to get volunteers through the process in a timely fashion. As seems typical with blood centers, the temperature is a bit chilly, so dress appropriately. Individual TVs and headphones are now available all but the whole blood stations. Snacks and drinks provided for post-donation time.

Veg poor customer service. I was supposed to donate blood today. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment. They made me wait 30 min and when asked I was told that it was going to take longer. So, I let the lady on the counter know I will be back to donate blood. They took me out of the system and I could not donate after all the waiting and all the back and forth from Norwalk.

Generally friendly staff overall, but their system kept texting and calling me about donating again even though it was too soon to do so again. Repeated calls asking LifeServe to please stop calling me didn’t help and I ended up blocking their number. A later software upgrade deleted my online account and all accumulated points without notice.
