Better front desk training is needed. At times they can be rude and slow. I wear a scarf for religious purposes and I was told by a staff member to take it off and retake my picture in the system because it looked like a “beanie” to her. Mind you, this is after I had already explained my situation to other staff members and gotten approved to take my picture with it on. This was done in front of a room full of people by the way! Insensitive and honestly DISRESPECTFUL! I wear my scarf even for government and official pictures. She was provided with my license and could see that! No chance in hell I would remove my scarf in a room full of STRANGERS to take a picture at a plasma donation center. This same staff member has been rude to me on more than one occasion. I wish I cared enough to remember her name so I could write it here. I see someone else here has written about her 2 months ago (the white lady at the front with black hair and glasses). The first time I went to this center she was even arguing with someone as I walked in the door. It is beyond me how an establishment could let such incompetence fester for so long. I stuck it out for the new member bonus, but I would not return to this facility. The workers in the back are great. They are respectful and service you as fast as they can. The front however…..sad. Would it not have been for that staff member, I may have considered returning. Please find workers who are not miserable enough to humiliate others.

You’ll be fine as long as you avoid the nurse with glasses and her hair pulled back. While waiting to be screened I heard others in the waiting room whispering about her being angry and rude. I didn’t believe it bc the rest of the staff is always so polite. Sadly, they were correct. It’s okay to have bad days but everyday can’t be bad. After yell on the phone, “If you give me an attitude, I’m going to give you one back.” Then slam the phone. She proceeded to be rude to everyone who was being screened at her window. My main concern was that she dropped her pen on the ground then without changing her glove proceeded to stick me. If you’re a nurse you should definitely know chain of infection and she should not have proceeded to stick me without changing your gloves. When I asked her if she could please change them (for my health and safety obviously) she gave me an attitude and now I could not donate. Any person in the realm of helping patients should know how to leave there problems at the door once you clock in. Everyone else is nice but avoid angry Nurse with glasses and you’ll be fine.

Do not go here. The service is constantly slow. I got deferred today for technician error. The technician didn’t cap the line which caused the line to burst and they blamed me for it and it caused me to lose a good amount of blood. I had to go to the ER to get checked out because of it and I got really sick and really light-headed and passed out because of it and when my wife confronted the manager she could seem like she didn’t even care

Amazing Center Clean, Fast and staff is Lovely!!!!!! Almost the perfect center!!! Well, EXCEPT a tall black fat guy in the screening I don’t know if his name is Delphone (it was a badge with that) He doesn’t clean the equipment between patients and when I let him know about he started with a very aggressive attitude, basically sprayed my face with the cleaner bottle, I reported him of course so just make sure that he cleans before your screening and be prepare for his response if you said something.

I sincerely hope and pray that the pure nastiness and lack of respect or consideration shown by these employees is returned to them 10Xs over!! Oh how they forget Karma is very real! These people are disturbingly and disgustingly behaved from sabotaging your results for iron and protein, to skipping over your name, to downright ignoring you! Especially the heavy set Caucasian lady!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Over an hour and a half just to get seen, everyone is so incompetent and RUDE. All to find out I can’t be a new donor since they just recently merged with BPL. And the new donor fees aren’t even as good as I heard about. All the plasma companies in Orlando are the biggest joke
