The nurse with the fake eyelashes and chews gum like a child, with her mouth wide open, is extremely rude. I have NEVER seen nursing staff as rude as this woman is. I overheard her tell someone she didn’t want someone to donate because they said “I ate a little while ago and then finished my food on the way up” because it was her “medical”license at risk. I absolutely enjoy all the other staff. They are very pleasant and very nice. But that nurse makes me want to go to a different facility. While I will continue to come here because I like the floor staff, I will no longer refer people because I don’t want them to be treated poorly by the fake lashes gum chewing mouth wide open nurse.

First time there, but donates multiple times in my life. They ask of I’ve eaten, which I had eaten some cereal. They said it wasn’t good enough. They were very rude. It seemed obvious they just didnt want to have to take a new donor. It is easy to tell why Biomat is the better choice.

Worst customer service (front desk) These workers are so unhappy with their lives that they need to take it out on everyone else. I didn’t take it personally because their behavior reflects themselves. This was my first time donating plasma and I was excited. I got yelled at within 5 mins because I MISHEARD their question. (They asked when and what i ate and i thought they asked when the last time I came in was). Then my boyfriend got yelled at because he glanced at the tv instead of reading over the forms. Throughout the whole process I was getting snotty attitude. I am glad other people had better experiences.

Overall the staff and business are run very well. I donated plasma at other companies 20 years ago and thought this would be a great time to get some extra money and donate again. I was not allowed to donate due to risky behavior from 30 YEARS AGO! I’ve been sober for almost 22 of those years. So much for being honest and forthwith with my past. Talk about unforgiving.

One of the WORST places in terms of customer service.. It’s kind of like they don’t want any donors at their center. Jayme the nurse here got into a verbal argument with me as I was a returning donor and asked her some questions. She went back and forth with me at the front desk then proceeded to tell her coworkers she had to leave or else she would do something to me. HOW are you a NURSE and acting in this manner? Threatening to fight the donors at the center? I will make sure to further document this and take it to who I need to. The manager stepped in and diffused the situation in a good way but it’s disheartening they allow someone like that to work there.This is not the first bad experience here and many other centers are talking about this place. The front desk people and those who check your status are not in the slightest kind either (except one nurse). PLEASE go to the Kedplasma on N 45th or Biomat, the customer service and donor care is so much better at other centers!

Staff are always friendly and uphold a positive environment which helps make the whole plasmapheresis procedure less daunting. The building is always clean they do their best to have you in and out. If you just moved to Lincoln and are in need of a plasma center, choose this location because you won’t be disappointed!
