Bring back Immunotek! They were much faster at getting people in and out. Also, pay donors more because how’re you going to take more than 800 liters and give $45 and $70? Give us $100 payments like Immunotek did. Other than that, the place is just okay!

On June 7, 2023, at approximately 12:30pm, while I donated plasma at KedPlasma on 2601 Broad River Road, in Columbia, South Carolina, two male staffers playfully threw medical instruments at each other in close proximity to other donating patrons. Such conduct posed a safety threat to nearby patrons. The thrown objects could have ricocheted and struck the needle and or tubing attached to patrons, resulting in possible severe injury.

On my first Donation day.. the staff was and is so loving and concerned about me the first time donating. I mean They were so professional and kind. Mr Robert , I believe that is his name did an amazing job, helping out to make sure that I was OK. And as I was there it wasn’t just me it was everyone he came in contact with. I must say I worked at a plasma center and hands down this center has the best staff and management. Thank you for your services and I will be back

They got my in and out in 3 hours time on my first time going there. They have really good staff as all the other places I’ve gone to around town. Very organized and well efficient workers. My experience was satisfactory and look forward to going back.

Staff is always friendly. Lots of people are complaining, but they are doing the best they can. They have new staff hired that have to be trained. People don’t understand ratios. They are following procedures and ratios. There have been more people in the center, but they are getting them back as quick as they can. David is doing as much as he can to make everyone happy.

I was falsely deferred not because of my negligence but because of the lack of training. I have small veins that move and I informed the faculty of this fact. As I always inform the faculty of any plasma center that I donate at. Also this is not the first plasma center that I have donated plasma at. The first time I came in to donate plasma there was a complication with my needle stick and the woman had to move the needle four times before a bubble formed underneath my skin and I asked her to please remove the needle. The second time I was stuck incorrectly again a bubble formed so the woman said she would have to take it out and put it in my other arm which I agree to however, I had to use the restroom. Once I came back from the restroom I was told that I cannot be re-stuck because I went to the bathroom and would have to go home. The woman told me I could come back Thursday or Friday. Said Friday I return to donate plasma and was told I was deferred because I was not able to get my red blood cells back but not due to anything I did. I am not the one who stuck myself incorrectly on multiple occasions. And even after the mistake I agreed to being stuck in the other arm. I was also told i would be given another change to give two days later even though I was not given my red blood cells back.
