Wouldn’t even give this place one star! It was a horrible experience for my 3 family members and I. We all were spoken rude to, and were all turned down for having tattoos… Even though the paperwork says you can donate if you haven’t had a tattoo in the past 12 months.!? Which we all had tattoos that were years old!… The staff there acts like they hate their job and could care less about anyone but themselves. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.!

It used to be a good place to go donate but in the last month it is not. Today, August 15, I took a friend of mine who we always go together with to donate. Basically I go with her because she doesn’t drive and she really needs the money. To start, I was in front of her but I had to wait 15 minutes because my pulse was 103, which was fine. We got seated in different sections which was fine. The phlebotomist in my section were so busy talking amongst the other employees about of all things astronomy and arguing between which was more important water or oxygen that it took them 25 minutes to stick 2 donors. By that time, my friend was done and ready to go, so I got and left before getting stuck. The employees are talking and talking and talking to each other not the donors that the last few times I had been there many other donors have complained about it. The only thing I can think has happened is that there was a change in management or they don’t care anymore.

I’ve never donated before until a week ago. I called ahead to see what I needed to bring & to learn a little bit about what to expect. Only thing they was willing to tell me was what to bring, and nothing else. I got there @ 12:30pm. They made me leave and eat lunch. (They should’ve told me when I called!) I got back there at 1pm and didn’t get to leave until 6pm. The process was extremely long because the staff are VERY SLOW. Not to mention rude!! They treat you like your less than, depending on how you dress. During my physical the woman treated me & my friend like we were drug addicts and it disturbed us both very much. I understand her job is to find them but we are definitely not, regardless she shouldnt judge and look down on ANYONE to the point of making them feel that uncomfortable. So be prepared for that. The actual donating of plasma wasn’t much better. I luckily got two, very sweet ladies. When the cuff in your arm starts to tighten you’re supposed to pump your fist so the blood doesn’t clot. No one mentioned that to me or my friend!! You figure that would be one of the most important instructions! If I wouldn’t have looked around & asked them, it would have been very bad. It took 45 mins for it to fill up, but I had to sit there for 15-20 mins with the needle still in my arm waiting on someone to release me. Because they were too busy talking, I had to yell to get their attention. They give you a card and within one hour of you leaving, they add the 50 dollars.

Not the best people working there really needs to be more professional, less chitchat with guys ladies more working js. Also everytime i go its me and my husband but everytime i get skipped over they always put my chart behind instead of where i need to be . I hope since they are changing companies it will change the workers also.

I gave this place one star because it’s clean, probably bc it’s less than 1 yr old. Overall the most aggravating and hassling plasma experience ever for me, if staff worked as much as they talk and socialize maybe nock an hour off of the time it takes here. At least 2.5 hrs , the most it’s taken me was 5.5 hrs. you’re told you’re fee will be paid out within 30 min., mine has never been less than 1 hr 15 min. , and as much as 4.5 hours. The pay sucks compared to “all” competitors. Check if their payment system is even working ” before” you give them your time and blood. I have found it much more hassle free and time efficient to drive to charlotte and do any of the centers there you’ll be in and out in 1.5 hrs and your money is on the card in less than 30 minuites ” every” time. Kedplasma should spend more time making sure their staff are trained and actually know what they’re doing. I’m aware this place has recently opened, but after almost a year it should be more consistent and reliable with people’s time and benefits. Just not the place for me. I think most of the customers here are new to the plasmapherisis process, so they’ve not had any other experiences to compare. Therefore they think it’s great due to not knowing better. Friendly , polite staff, mostly, ; very clean place as well I’m sure they are doing they’re best but business wise, not the place for me.

They will cheat you out of your payments. You will not be paid as your supposed to be and you get charged 5 dollars to draw your payment off of your card. Very poorly run. You are told one thing one week and something else the next. I wouldn’t advise going there.

I just came from the kedplasma center May 15th at 10:52 a.m. I got to explain my experience with the people that works in the plasma center majority of the people that’s cool in there except two people these people know exactly who they is they know what I’m talking about I don’t want to say no names because I don’t want nobody to get fired the two people I’m talking about they don’t know me personally and I don’t know them personally but some particular reason the way hi address or where I carry myself they got an issue with me and it judging a book buy a covered I didn’t get a chance to read the book I got that stereotype for thing going on and the thing is though and looking at me thinking that I’m better than them or I’m better than other people and I’m not and then it’s another thing I’m sensing attitudes act like they got a problem with me when I every time I come in there but if can find it to them they were at like nothing is going on this is speak my mind freely you got people there that works there that can be raw ignorant if you’re not paying attention we are hiring they may look at me today like I got some wrong with me or they think I’m bipolar I’m tripping or anything but I’m not I would never I was never diagnosed with that and I’m a human being just like everybody else I know who I am I have a nice jewelry on the nice clothes on and stuff like that be coming in there and I look nice because I dress nice to make myself feel nice someone took a reason other people got problems with it and I’m talking about only two people that works there sick and tired of this b******* . that will be the last time being there

Very clean most of the staff is nice but some do act like they are better than you and it does take a bit longer then I would like due to them talking but all in all its OK in my experience the ones in Charlotte are not no better

They don’t pay nothing hardly after you’ve been coming awhile. Then if you stop going they call you and tell you that if you come in, you’ll get extra money. When you get there, they tell you that you need a code. So it’s defiently a scam to get you in there. It’s not worth your time unless your new.
