This is the only place I’ve ever given plasma, but it was easy! First visit is long, with paperwork and a mini physical but everyone was super friendly. Second visit the wait was a little long but I came in right when the doors opened (I work in the evenings so I don’t want to go later). Pretty much my only complaint is I wish it was closer to home, I have to drive about 45 minutes to get there. Go in with a good attitude and a little extra time, and you’ll earn your money for sitting around doing nothing!

I’ve never had a problem with the attitude of the workers. But what I do have a problem with is how they stand around and talk to each other instead of taking care of people. Their process of bringing people back to the beds is terrible. They’ll bring more people back than the staff can properly maintain at one time, which usually leaves donors waiting for long periods of time to be stuck. Honestly though, I do have some visits where I’m in and out of there really fast, but the slow days definitely outnumber the fast ones. I would definitely recommend this place over the other one on 10th street.

This place is so very unprofessional. The women working the counters will literally sit there and not work on you to entertain, I guess, the regulars that come in. I literally stood at the end of the counter where they check your veins and the supervisor on duty ..the vein checker and 2 other employees were ignoring the 4 people waiting to joke and laugh with this guy who just finished up his blood work. I will never ever come back to this place again. I was so very upset. They need a new staff or new leadership that can whip this place into shape. I’ve been here twice and it was unprofessional both times.

The lady who stick me was nice. Her name was Danielle. But the stick was terriable. And bruised so bad for weeks. Then came in a different day for my husband to donate who’s been doing it for over a year and a lady came up and said we couldn’t stand there so I walked to a different area. She continues to say did u hear so I said, okay and walked away. Wasn’t rude at all. She continues to follow me telling me she’s in management and she doesn’t need my attitude. So I polietly tell her she is the one with the attitude and that I did what she asked me to do. She calls another lady over who tells me if I’m not sitting in a seat I have to leave. No one has ever acted like this to us before. And I will make sure we never go back here again.

I been a donor here for a while and they are very unprofessional . Messed up my veins in both of my arms to the point I can’t even donate in one of my arms because my doctor told me my vein was damage. Had wait me wait an hour for one of their philobomonist to stick me wrong then tell me they can’t pay me anything because of their employees mistakes. I feel like I should of been still compensated because it wasn’t my fault because I am a very healthy person and never had a problem with any of my veins when it’s time to donate.They did not want to pay me for their own mistakes which I felt like that wasn’t right. I will not reccomend anyone to come here and they dont have to worry about me coming back ever! I’m thinking about filing a lawsuit!

Horrible disorganized place with many rude employees. Twice in the last month the systems went down. So far I have not been paid for either but they only got my plasma once. Today was the last time. To the employee that laughed at me because I did not have gas money to get back to Rocky Mount today (after not being paid), enjoy your hourly pay while it lasts. Donors are tired of the mess and we are not coming back. Neither is your job.
