I have donated blood through Inova 3 times so far, and have always had good experiences. The phlebotomists always do a good job, and they are very friendly! They also give away lots of free stuff like t-shirts and sweaters! They have lot of drinks and snacks for after you donate, too, and the waiting area and donation area are both very comfortable! Last picture is of my needle site on my arm a day after donation- no bruising whatsoever!

I reviewed and completed all of the paperwork online. I made sure that I was eligible. I scheduled an appointment. I completed my Quick Pass the day of my scheduled appointment and got the confirmation email. I drove 25 minutes to get there after work. They asked me if I ever had cancer, which was asked and answered when I completed the Quick Pass. Then they said I couldn’t donate because I had surgery for cancer (completely cured, no chemo, no radiation) six months ago. Trying to be helpful and it was a complete waste of time.

I’ve always had a great experience donating at this location but today has been phenomenal! I mixed up the appointment time but they took me without a problem. Check in and screening was quick and easy. Nicole was outstanding and I can’t express that enough! Her insertion technique was so spot on that I couldn’t even feel the insertion!

This review focuses on INOVA Blood Services customer service, not on the Centreville location. I have been contacting INOVA blood services multiple times in multiple ways, including a form on their website, for over two weeks with no replies. My online login stopped working and I get the message “multiple accounts have that email address”. This just started happening so I told them this is a security issue and needs to be fixed right away. No contact from INOVA whatsoever. I have been giving platelets every two weeks. I don’t plan to go back there ever unless they fix this and communicate with me. There are other blood donation services in NOVA.

Great effort every time with my difficult veins! Thank you, Sadeg, for allowing me to give blood 1 day early, as I had traveled 180 miles for other medical business…but found out I needed Covid Booster before next day’s late appointment. Thank you Taylor and David…a few needle movements and some bruising (meh, It’s not the first time on my arms, won’t be the last)…but you knew I didn’t want to go home without giving my therapeutic donation! Some visits I’ve had to go home because too difficult to get that needle in, properly. KUDOS TO ALL AT CENTREVILLE

This is the best Inova to donate your blood. The facility is very clean and the staffs are A+++. I and my sister donanted blood but passed out eventually. They took such a good care of us. I am very very impressed by the way they treated the donors. An employee named DUSTIN gave A+ customer service. He made sure we were ok and really took care of us. If you want to donate blood, choose this location. You can’t go wrong.

These guys do a great job, I have hemochromatosis so I have to get theraputic blood draws but my veins are notoriously hard to find, but 2 times in a row the same lady who’s name I wish I could remember locked on to an oddly placed vein in my arm, successfully drew my blood fully, and didn’t even leave a bruise. This definitely sets her at a higher skill level than the majority of needle-wielders I’ve come across.
