Rude Staff. I’m a regular blood donor but will not be interacting with this organization again (at least at the University Avenue Urbana location) after three negative interactions. Some of the staff is nice and professional. But when others can’t be bothered to answer normal questions in a way that is polite and are clearly trying to get you off the phone as soon as possible, what’s the point? Administration, you need to be more careful about hiring and giving critical feedback to your staff.

Very professional staff on-site. However, after donating blood I received multiple text messages and phone calls. When I told the lady on the phone that I would be back to donate blood when I had time and to please stop calling/texting me so much, the lady got agitated. I give A-negative blood (something I could sell) as a donation and their staff is bold enough to get agitated when I ask them to stop calling me during my work hours. Not a good look.

I donated blood at my daughters school durning their blood drive. Everyone was so nice and professional. However, Bryan was finishing up my donation and i became very lightheaded and sweaty. He asked a coworker (Iesha) to get me a cold rag…. she was just standing there doing nothing…and after he asked she rolled her eyes and made a comment to another male employee and he looked at me. The guy taking my blood apologised for her behavior and i told him it wasnt on him. After getting home i called the 1-800 number anf left a message but no one has returned my call. Other than this it was a good experience.
