I have been donating for a year now at Impact Life. They have very knowledgeable staff that know their job very well. They are truly concerned about their donors. This is a great place to donate to save someone’s life by donating blood or platelets. Please go see them as often as possible.

Absolutely the best! I have been giving blood for 30 years now since the military. I have seen the worst of it (OUCH!!!!!) and have seen the best of experiences. The folks at the Galesburg Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (just wish they’d shorten their name!) have an extremely professional and polite crew on hand. I donate platelets and that is an hour and a half to two hour procedure. Through out that time they constantly dote over me, offer drinks and blankets, talks to me and shares stories that sometimes has me in stitches! They never let you leave feeling like you’re just another pint of blood, rather, you leave like you’ve done something good and accomplished. I deal with Vicki, my phlebotomist, and Jennifer (I have no clue what she does- she’s just always working- wish I had her energy!lol) the most but the entire crew is amazing at making everyone feel welcomed. The coffee: A+ Cleanliness: A+ Beverages: A+ (they have various types of soft drinks and water) Snacks: A+ (Okay I admit it- I only donate to come feast on the oatmeal raisin cookies! So good!) I only have one complaint- the Galesburg office nneds their own Facebook page because I never see this outstanding crew on the MVRBC Facebook page!

I have given every chance I’ve gotten since I was age appropriate. Hasn’t been very long but I plan on continuing donating for as lo g as I can. Everyone at the Galesburg site is very friendly and patient. I can have very nice conversations with them everytime I go in. Very consumer friendly. Highly recommend going here if you would like to donate.
