Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, was founded in 1938, and serves more than 30 hospitals in 18 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana. Annually, Hoxworth collects more than 100,000 units of blood from local donors at our blood drives and in our Neighborhood Donation Centers located in Anderson, Blue Ash, Central, Ft. Visited the location to donate blood, not my first time, but first time to this location. Normally I just donate when the blood bus comes to work, but they have been away for a while. Either Way, check-in was a breeze. They now offer QuickPass, which allows you to answer all of the normal questions, this allowed me to complete it earlier in the day. Once they scanned my QR code from the Quickpass, it was a seamless process to get my vitals, and then start pumping the juices. My arm poking lady was gentle as a mosquito, and the bloodletting was fast, painless, and easy.
