Super facility for donating blood. Large and clean with friendly phlebotomists. Parking garage ticket is validated. They often offer nice incentives to get people through the door. Schedule an appointment and be in and out in no time.

Was blessed to donate Stem Cells today at the blood center. And WOW this place has got it all together. Our family has had to so many different interactions with hospitals over the past few years and there is nothing to complain about with this place. Great staff, clean facility and I would recommended it to anyone.

I went to give blood only to be told that I need my doctor’s permission first. Hoxworth should tell people that if they had afib or other conditions to do this prior to visiting. How am I supposed to know this? This was a waste of my time.

The services that I received generally met my expectation. However, through the course of donating platelets, I was not interrupted throughout the process or much of it to ask if I was doing OK. However, my main contention with my overall experience was that they were giving out shirts which left me with a bit of query. The writings on the shirt left me with a rather untasteful reaction. It seemed as though it left me with a rather negative implication , that if anyone were to read, what was on the shirt, would feel degraded. Hopes that the next promotional idea has a more positive and encouraging message.

First time donating blood, the team at Hoxworth North in West Chester were nothing short of incredible to both my wife and myself. Highly recommend this location, I’m adverse to needles, my nurse was outstanding. Felt very little, over quickly, and knew my wife and I were doing a good deed. My wife’s nurse was equally as professional and supportive (and funny)! Greatly appreciate this team making us regular blood donors now!

I live over 600 miles away from this blood center. Having never donated blood to this organization, I am dismayed that they repeatedly call asking me to “donate blood again” despite my informing them of the above.

Made an appointment to donate blood over the phone. The rep got all my details and knew that I had donated there in the past, as she thanked me for coming back. Then I arrive to be told by the receptionist that since I have the sickle cell trait they will no longer accept my blood. 1. Thanks for telling me that while I am in a line full of people!. 2. Wasting my time this was information that should have been told to me over the phone. Lastly, You want me to donate my plasma and get tested which will take 2 hours…

Hoxworth harrasses us relentlessly. We get phone calls almost daily or at leasrt several times a week. We live at least 3-4 hrs away from them. I have called, texted and asked to be taken off their call list at least 10 times-We’ve never donated here -I would assume if you do the harrassment would be worse! I’m all for people donating blood -don’t do it here!
