I have been a donor for well over 5 yrs now, so I’ve been thru BPL, Biomat, and now Grifols, and thru many staff changes. Most experiences are good, however, lately there have been more bad than good. I completely understand how the process works and some days they are understaffed and certain days are busier than others, so I’m always prepared to wait. HOWEVER, when you have more than 15 donors waiting to be called onto a bed and there are more than 6 empty beds and fully staffed on that day and literally not calling a single donor to a bed and you even have donors on a bed waiting to bed stuck, you have donors walking out bcus the staff on the floor are too busy visiting with each laughing and playing, that is a huge issue for me. Some staff members take their jobs seriously and some act like their still in high school. And the attitudes they simply could care less is so unprofessional. Exact reason I quit donating for almost 6 months.

Mostly ok with the process, but they should check iron levels before all the vital signs are taken. Plus, why workers stop providing ice pack. Also some workers wrap the arm way to tight with the tape/wrap product.

I love to go to the Biomat USA in Texarkana, TX. The entire staff working at the center are very professional and friendly, and especially Keandra is always nice and polite. She does great job. I will go back soon!

Been here cent 830. It’s 930 now. My paperwork wouldn’t scan and for the last 45 they workers have been more worried hooking up other people rather than trying to reprint mine paper that their printer messed up. I asked for an update on what going on. Which I guess was that is to much to ask for and they get an upset. Like their the 1s that be waiting almost for them to job smdh.

First time donor. Everyone was pleasant to deal with. Alot of talking done amongst each other by front staff. A big thank you to Nurse Tangya!! She is so sweet and nice. Explained everything to me and let me ask questions. Never rude and made me feel at ease. More people should be like her!! Overall I will be going back to donate again. I hope to have Nurse Tangya!
