I have been going there for a while, and have had issues with the way we (the clients) are treated there for a while. Nobody that works the front desk/finger prick area is particularly friendly aside from one very nice older gentleman, but today I apparently annoyed the woman with the really tacky fake eyelashes because I did not hear her call me to the booth. She copped an attitude and went on about how she called several times and scolded me like a child about how I was wearing headphones and I’m not supposed to and blah blah blah. The truth is, I was wearing them on one ear per your policy and the volume wasn’t loud enough to block out any clear communication about going to a booth. I told her something along those lines and she just wanted to keep arguing and making her ridiculous point, because she insisted on having the last word even though she was utterly wrong, and even if she wasn’t, nobody deserves to be treated that way. The staff that are less lazy will make the effort to walk around the corner to call patients back because they know it’s difficult to hear someone from inside the booth while waiting in line. I was really heated and it certainly elevated my blood pressure. I would have given her an earful, but I just internalized it and stuck it out because quite frankly I needed the money and I don’t like to anger people that are going to be poking me with needles. The person in front of me couldn’t hear her the first time either when she whispered for her to come back , and she wasn’t wearing headphones at all and was clearly anticipating being called. I wear headphones in the exact same manner and volume every time I’m there and have never had this issue. She was friendly enough when she took my blood and all that and at least was mature enough to let it go after I did, but this is unacceptable. The rest of the front staff… well they just seem miserable. Real short with clients, impatient, scowls on their faces, like they just hate their jobs. I’ve heard some of them speak negatively about clients and treat them like they are stupid when they don’t know their protocols or understand what they are asking for. The whole staff clearly has fun and goofs around with each other and maybe clients they already know or people from their neighborhood, but anyone else is just an annoyance to them. The back of the house is typically friendly and MUCH better than the trolls who work the front, but there is certainly some room for improvement with professionalism (a lot of cutting up, listening to explicit music). Not offensive to me, but completely inappropriate in a medical environment. I’ve seen other clients there scolded and disrespected as well for other petty stuff.

When I came in to donate, I tried to scan my UPC code to sign in but it said there was an error and to get help from one of the staff members. I told one of the staff members what happened but they just said I was signed in and told me to wait in line. When I got to the booth, the staff member didn’t even weigh me. She just pricked my finger and took my blood pressure. She said my blood pressure was high and so was my iron and deferred me. I think she did that because the line in the back was full and they didn’t want to stick anymore people. I’m never going back here ever again. I don’t have any problems at any other places except this one.

This is my fist time here , but like always I read reviews. And all the workers are playing in the floor , I’ve been here since 7 and no one had asked me if im new or need anything. It’s not even workers at the front desk . This is sad and ghetto . Get it together. You need better staff and management

This place is a joke some employees are good but most are rude, inconsiderate and think they are above others. Some are wannabe doctors the doctor only works one day a week so you end up with a wannabe checking you in medical. The manager on duty could not even pull up the standard operating procedures for medications they just deny and that’s it no wonder this place is in the hood they don’t care at all. DON’T BOTHER

Great place, friendly people… I would recommend this place to anyone. They make you fell like family, vs a person just donating to get some money!!!

I usually have good experiences, the staff is lovely and good at what they do. However, they aren’t clear about certain things. I was told that it would be $50 and then 100 after my first 4 visits as long as they’re in the same week. I went on Sunday Feb 19th and received $50, then again on Saturday Feb 25th and received $50 again. I called the next day and was told it’s only $75 in February and their week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. Two important points to make known to donors.

Normally fast but they experience not enough employees and people calling out so it can get backed up sometimes.. but for the most part everyone is really nice and the guy screening was very quick and made me feel welcomed. November is 40$ for first visit then 60$+40$ for second visit so you can make 140$ a week.. well worth it if you just come and save it up for the holidays coming up

I hate going places and the staff is so occupied in having fun that nothing gets done. I believe in a healthy work environment but the reason for making it fun is so u can get things done. Not the case here. I came in at 1:00 to be a new donor because I haven’t been here in years. They have all my info still in the system tho so it should’ve been fast right? No!!! I sat there for 5 hours just for them to say my veins aren’t hydrated enough! I should have been checked. The process was said to take 2 hours and 5 hours later I didn’t even donate. Very unprofessional how this store makes people sit and wait while they peek at u and waste time playing. Hopefully I’m never in need of money so bad so I won’t have to go back! Time is important and mine was totally wasted. And this was my only day off. Don’t go there!!!!!
