Was interested in becoming a Donor at BiOmat USA. But after my experience with a Caucasian woman that was a staff member that was assigned to the new Donors on 7/4/2023. Resulted in me leaving and going to Biolife. Which I had great and quick experience. Everyone was professional and welcoming. The employee at Biomat USA. Was rude and very unprofessional and simply did not want to do her job because “she was getting off in 20minutes”. Because she lack professionalism it led to a verbal argument. Is this the type of experience BioMat USA wants its donors to experience? Because as a donor I will never donate to anything with Biomat USA name on it.

Experience was good there, until some new lady stuck me today and felt she didn’t know what she was doing because her first comment was “you look like you scared” (now keep in mind I’ve been donating for years and even at this plasma center) so in my mind I feel you either tryna be funny or you really the nervous scared one. Because once she stuck me it hurt, my cuff was too dam tight and on my first draw the machine kept cutting off 3x (I knew something was wrong then) cause now she keep tryna readjust my needle and the machine and by this time I asked to be taken down they offered to do my other arm but I’m driving a motorcycle and don’t feel that’s safe considering my arm is already in excruciating pain at this point.. long story short the $95 I was expecting ended up being. $5 and I drove out there in the rain from downtown Newport news what a waste of time. And will never ever come back there again … !!!! Now my arm feel to have nerve damage and hurting like a gunshot all for $5. Smdh

536pm on a Wednesday afternoon you see 6 employees waking around but only 1 person working the floor in the back? How is that reasonable or even makes sense? Middle of the week, this late there should always be atleast 2 to 3 people working the floor. And how to stick the vein should be properly taught to each person, that could potentially lead to serious injury.

Wonderful, professional staff, they are all kind and friendly and always make sure to greet me (by name) even when they aren’t the ones checking me in. They’re a bit understaffed (like every establishment these days) but they work hard, fast, and stay positive while doing so. Thank you to Tori too for being so kind. This is a great place to donate!

The WORST place to give plasma! Do not come here.. All in a week.. I had someone poke my arm and miss the whole vein while my blood squirts everywhere while she just jokes. Not enough ppl working there that takes it serious. Also, my last visit someone broke into my car and the “cameras doesn’t work” . Real sketchy place and should be able to tell by location. Go somewhere else.

Wait for hours just to be told BP is too high to donate. Never had high BP ever, and tried to explain that they needed a larger cuff. Wouldn’t listen and said nope can’t donate. Went to my dr for my annual physical, BP normal. I’ll just go somewhere who knows what they are doing.

This place is so ghetto. When they answer the phones, they don’t care who’s on the other end. They complain THE WHOLE TIME THEY ARE WORKING. I saw a review that said they only assist their friends which is essentially the truth. They look out for their own there. Literally anything you ask these people is a complete and utter inconvenience. I made a huge mistake going from octapharma to here.
