Ghetto and unprofessional I don’t like some of the staff and I don’t like some of the donors the area is filled with ignorant mfs. Their policies suck they will literally drain you of plasma just to not pay you. And I swear if I wasn’t going through so much in life I would have gladly flipped that place upside down cause some of those nurses are PATHETIC with the attitude . Go work somewhere else yal got people life in your hands.

Recently tried to donate plasma and was rejected because I have tattoos covering both my arms. When asked why, they said it’s because “the ink will get in the bloodstream”. I was a medic in the army for 6 years, and I’ve never heard of such thing, and I just went to octopharm and they took my plasma. If you want to be handled by a competent phlebotomist, go to Octopharm, not here.

The staff members are very helpful and quick. There was a time when I was having complications and they made sure that I was calm and ok throughout the whole process. Even after the incident they would ask me how I was feeling today and that made me feel more welcomed to come back.

Horrible time management and too much willingness to do nothing. Was there more than 2 hours (one on a bed) before being stuck to start the donation. Wasn’t many donors at the time. Just no sense of work ethic or care to provide an expedient experience.

Called to make sure they were accepting new doners got told they were accepting until 4pm I drove an hour to get here got here at 1230 for them to tell me I had to wait until 4 now instead of telling me on the phone when I asked, they hung up on me when I called back about this issue from the car asking for a manager just to express my irritation and poor communication skills in this facility. They don’t need a star at all!!! When I got there, there was an older lady sitting at the front desk, she had the worsest attitude!! Plus they were short of staff. Then I get to the back they said they couldn’t find my vein in neither arm after I waited for two hrs. They didn’t know what they were doing and they also had attitudes!!! I have went to another place before and they found my vein. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I MOST DEFINITELY DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLASMA CENTER! THEY DONT WORK WITH YOU OR LET YOU SLIDE WITH NOTHING! They Slow and make any excuse not to let you give plasma! You can have a valid ID with a Baton Rouge address and they still won’t let you give if you don’t have proof of that address lol! If you don’t have a social security card they won’t let you give even though you know your numbers! Usually any other plasma center will let you give the first time and then bring the mail back nope not with this one they take their jobs extremely serious so I wouldn’t even bother going here! THEY ACT LIKE THE MONEY IS CMING FROM THEIR PAYCHECK SO GO ELSEWHERE GO TO OCTAPHARMA PLASMA ON ONEAL LANE OR GO TO THE OTHER ONE! THEY CARE ABOUT THEIR DONORS THERE NOT HERE! PLEASE I REPEAT PLEASE DONT COME HERE AND WASTE YOUR TIME!
