I am SO frustrated with this place. And it is 100% NOT the staffs fault. They were amazing. Grifols only used Automatic blood pressure cuffs, which are inaccurate at best anyways. But they have no manual cuffs at all for people who can’t use the the automatic ones. (My mom and myself have never successfully had our BP taken from these) so I was turned away. Also my daughter made it over two hours into her appointment before finding out that because she had a baby two months ago she couldn’t donate. After us trying to ask these types of questions beforehand and being told we just had to go through the process.

Words cannot describe the disgust felt for this company. Donating plasma is great, but go elsewhere if possible … and Lord, Child, don’t try to work for them. Termination of positions comes without notice…..ask the 2,000 + Nurses, Workers, Regionals, District, and Management personnel….along with the the 9staff from Cape. Last resort to donate, don’t ever attempt employment unless you crave instability.

I was denied my right to donate my blood due to my living armaments at Parkwood Manor. At the blood bank, I was told that my blood could be tainted because residents moving in and out. I call the manager told me it was a federal law for residents living in a Manor to be unable to donate blood.

What a joke! After answering the questions on the app and being given a QR code, instead of scanning and getting in line for screening, you are told to sign in on a clipboard and have a seat in the waiting area and wait for God knows how long until your name is called. My name was called only to be told to sit back down again in the waiting area. Beyond ridiculous. Meanwhile, several staff members are literally standing around doing nothing. I have never had these issues at any other Grifols location.

Sat there going through the process for over 2 and a half hours just to be turned away because you have to wait 6 months after having a baby. Someone could’ve informed me of that earlier seeing as how I’d been talking about said baby. So frustrating and a giant waste of time.

The first time took long after that walking in was ok just scan your phone and get on line or get on there computer answer the question and get online but now with making appointments it’s kinda hard to get the day you want or time you want doesn’t work out all the time with working schedule but there ok people working in there I never have a problem but time that’s it.

First visit was 5 hours long. Took 2 hours before they ever called my name. Their staff is Super judgemental. There’s way more conversation than working. And if you’re even one single point lower than that necessary on the iron check, theyll defer you til next day. If your blood pressure is high they don’t give you time to try and get it down they just tell u that you can’t donate

New plasma donation center. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great compensation payment for every donation. First time donor bonus and referral bonus. Facility is nice, clean, and comfortable. Bring long sleeves or a blanket cause it’s cold all the time. Donate plasma and save lives!
