One of the few good blood banks to donate at. Staff can be found distracted but also very caring and helpful about concerns and questions. Was a newcomer but now considering donating more after quarantine though next time.

I am thankful for Barbara at Grifols at the state street location. She went the extra mile to assure I wouldn’t be out in the cold not knowing if my family member was able to donate. If 1 can’t donate, you are not able to wait inside the building for the 1 that was able to donate. It’s so cold and my daughter or myself don’t need to be waiting outside especially in that location for each other. Barbara went to see was my daughter able to donate or did she have to leave. That really helped.

The worst plasma place available I waited 2 hours just to watch the video & read binder & they let me sit & donate for almost 3 hours or I would only get half my payment I would never come here , Check out biolife

This place is only still open because of the people desperate enough for some money or don’t have transportation to go to a better donation place sat finished donating with the needle in my arm for 30 minutes when I first got stuck the lady told me I better not move or else and just shoved the needle into my arm proceeded to walk away and the machine wasn’t even working right had to wait 15 more minutes for her to come back and adjust it sometimes they only have 1 or 2 kiosks open out of 6 this place is really a joke don’t let it tell you to go see a team member because you’ll be standing up at the front desk until someone decides to get up from their desks and come help you or in my case the lady came to check the printer and if she wasn’t printing anything nobody would’ve came to help me glad if you can donate any where else

I called ahead of time. I asked if having a new tattoo would exclude me from donating. I was told that I had to come in so they could see it, ask about where I got it and the like. I went in, filled out all the paperwork in about 15 minutes and then waited another HOUR before someone told me that I could not donate until 12 months after getting tattoo work done. That seems a little ridiculous to me that they could not just tell me on the phone or say it right away when I handed in my form.

So I went for my third donation of 2022 the machine wasent letting me clock in so I had to sign up on the app I did all that than they say I have to wait for the nurse to take me off hold so than she comes and tell me I have to start a new donation bc I donated there last January 2022 at the moment she said that I knew she was lying bc I didn’t even live at Wisconsin at the time I was in Arizona

Whomever the woman is from the Appleton office who was at the 25th Street location on 6/28 needs to learn some serious people skills. Screaming at employees in the back like some little kid having a temper tantrum? GTFU! You told someone he was on a deferment list, didn’t tell him whether it was permanent or temporary. If it was temporary you FAILED to tell him when the deferment expires. I heard him tell someone that the staff there caused the bruising by DIGGING in both arms. Hire people who care about their jobs, get rid of the goons by the door(so passé) and retrain your staff how to properly insert a needle! Geezus it ain’t rocket science.
