First time to make a drop off. The gentleman was pleasant. The procedure was simple and quick. I was just slightly turned off, because he walked away when it was time to unload. But he might have had to rearrange something before I rolled. He was alone and it was really hot. I plan on returning and making it a norm.

This is a convenient place to drop off donations. You don’t really have to exit your car. Pop the truck or open the door for them and they’ll do the rest. The staff is polite and courteous. They never make you feel as though you’re a bother no matter how much you have. I dropped off 5 bags of donations there with no problem and it o lt took a coupe of minutes

This was not as efficient as other Green Drop experiences that I have had throughout NJ. This specific time, the two associates weren’t as eager to help unload. I pretty much unloaded my own 15 boxes into the carts they rolled over. Their attitude seemed annoyed that I had a whole car load. The boxes were varying 10 lbs – 25 lbs, stacked neatly and taped. I’m not sure why the lack of help or friendliness, but based on this interaction I ended up driving to the Springfield location for the remaining of my donations.

Although this organization offers pick-up for different charities I find drop-off extremely helpful and convenient. Simply pull in and your donations are unloaded from your vehicle quickly. Every encounter has been pleasant. I so appreciate the friendly, professional atmosphere.

Before you take a job here don’t. I worked here for a year and 2 months with absolutely nothing to show for it.My assistant general manager had other sites she would go to each week to drop off supplies,do site audit,etc but more often than not we never had supplies on a consistent basis with which to perform our job duties right and the management obviously didn’t care despite numerous texts from us and calls.Another thing is that they don’t schedule good at all.Meaning you could have 35 hours one week and 25 the next for absolutely no reason and you would think they would give hours to people who worked hard or looked out for them but no they give hours to the people they feel like it.Also there is no way to get promoted to any real position if you don’t have a car and management often targets some people to harass while favoring others who consistently break rules,get complaints,etc.They tell you not to take breaks.Next there are no raises and if you get one it’ll be 75 cents or a dollar for a year’s worth of work.Finally the opportunity to get full time is almost slim to none and the company loves to watch you from camera’s and doesn’t like it if you take a break in 98 degree weather dealing with rude donor’s who think your worth nothing or cuss at you

I can’t begin to say how helpful and accommodating the staff are here at Metuchen, NJ. I did my part, my donations were in manageable bags and boxes, and each time I showed up for a drop off my items were quickly and graciously handled. Kudos to the staff at this location!! Well done, and I will be back!!
