I donate occasionally and this location and service is amazing. Reyna was the clinician that most recently helped me and she was efficient, considerate and professional. I appreciated she was patient and thorough, although it was busy and various walk-ins. Great experience and staff.

June is an exceptionally hard worker and she’s always there for the donors who need someone. This place only has most of the donors it has because of her professionalism and her smile brightens people’s days. If you could find more people like her cause she is understandably the best worker you have

The center closed at 4:30 instead of 5pm like it is posted on the door. I tried calling but it went straight to voice-mail. Very inconvenient. No one was at the door to explain the reason. I witnessed a worker arguing with a woman at the door 8 minutes to closing. They are understaffed apparently but this has been going on for a year now. Update: they are changing the closing hours to 4pm. They haven’t put a new sign up yet

They take forever to Just take my blood pressure/protein levels. Expect to wait 20-30 min. And another 10-20min in line after. If your lucky you’ll be done 30 mins to donate. They don’t set the machine right or put the needle in your vein right so now your pumping but now it’s going to take forever. I have had multiple issue with not sticking the needle right where I bleed out because they took it out. on top of that horrible attitude.

I am really struggling financially, so I came to the south Buffalo CSL. The employee who checked my protein level, weight and vitals was extremely unprofessional and appeared to be under the influence of something. 1st I asked him not to tell me my weight because I’m in recovery from an eating disorder. I have been to other locations where my request has been honored, but this man decided to tell me anyway after I asked him not to. He then made a crude joke about showing him my leg tattoo by taking my pants off. Lastly he fell asleep while reading my protein level. He was asleep for about 10 minutes before one of the security guards woke him up after I got his attention. I ended up leaving after this because I was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately my fiance got upset and yelled at the staff, which didn’t help the situation, because they threatened to call the police. This was just a horrible experience

The guy who stuck me took a full minute to find my vein when everyone else literally just pokes my arm with a finger one or twice. Then he caused so much pain I started crying and the guy who came to help didn’t even care that I was in pain, he was only worried that I hurt the first guys feelings for doing it wrong. I’ve been doing this for 6 years, and I might not come back because of this. I don’t even know if my vein is still usable.

If you are a first time donor like I was today , then there is a bit of a process, however all staff was super nice and thorough. Explained all that was happening. The actual donor process for me only took about 30 min once hooked up. I will definitely be back to help save more lives!!

I donated today, and it was the best experience I’ve had donating ever. The staff was dedicated, professional, and helpful. Nancy especially was awesome and very nice. I will be donating here again.

I really like this donation center. They are professional, the place is clean, the extra money is nice! I appreciate how hard they have to work everyday. Sometimes lines are long but that’s to be expected. Patience people.

I have experienced an unprecedented level of disrespect in my interactions with this facility. After having taken a three-month leave due to recurring issues with bruising, I returned only to encounter another instance of bruising. Furthermore, during subsequent visits, I encountered a nurse who displayed significant unkindness and condescension. It appears as though there may be deliberate actions aimed at discouraging patient retention.
