I usually dont have any issues with the staff, most employees are friendly and the ones that arent are just doing their job to get a check. No real complaints except the pace. It is not an exaggeration when you read it takes 2 hours or more to donate here. They get you processed EXTREMELY slow. As an example i typically will have to take 10 mintues to complete the questionnaire, 1 hour to get pre screened, 1 hour to be placed in a bed, another 10-30 minutes before I am connected to the machine and then 45 minutes to an hour to actually donate plasma. At that pace you’re making less than minimum wage for the donation and couldve gotten a part time job. It’s not the process either, it is the employees. They simply work at a snails pace and/or they are understaffed. There is no regard for your time and no employee has any sense of urgency. If you can get past arriving at 1030 and leaving at 1300 (1oclock) then it’s not that bad…

My husband went in and got sick during the process. He was half way done filling up the plasma but got sick to where he couldn’t talk, jaw turned sideways, light headed, wanting to throw up, and instead of putting his blood back they had him put his feet up and gave him a bag to throw up and told him he needed to finish with his plasma. From what i understand protocol is you give the patients blood back so you could be done. He was not taken care of properly for him almost passing out and feeling the way he did.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews for this place. Not only is this place more lenient towards those who have temporary housing- but the staff is really nice about it and doesn’t judge you. In general, I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the staff here. Sometimes the line is long but that’s only happened once my entire 9 times donating. Even so, they’re also open on Saturday and Sunday so you can go on a day you have off if you’re worried about the line.

The staff could care less about processing people through in a timely manner. Rude staff abnormally long lines. Expect to stand in line for literally 2 hours just to donate for 45 minutes. They quit using half of their beds as well. Going to a different company now and will never return here again.

Thought I would give today so I used the the app on my phone to scheduled for an appointment for 3pm and I arrived 15 min before hand just to be told and I quote “we don’t have a scheduled it is first come fist serve” and “we are no long taking new people at this time” if they are not going to use the appointment tool to help them then they either need to trained on it need or be removed all together. Another thing that bothered me was that it look like some had gotten sick and they where trying to cleaning it up as I was leaving again I quote as a doctor walked buy “I am on clean up duty”. would have loved to use your services today but was left with little desire to go back.

Front desk woman spoke over me several times, not sure who raised her. They have you go sit in the “waiting area” without getting your information so no one has any clue who’s next in line and you end up waiting waaaay longer than what’s necessary.
