I’ve been coming to donate since May. The staff is great, thorough and friendly. They took care of me at all times. I was very grateful to Mike for walking me out to make sure I was good to go. They treat you like a person, not just a donor.

Today was my first bad experience. Having to wait over half an hour. Even though there is a whole other section that isn’t being utilized is ridiculous. Had to leave because I didn’t have an extra 30 minutes more to waste

It’s true what you read here. They aren’t good at drawing blood. This is the third time they mess up my arm. Last time it took me 3 weeks to fully heal. It’s a hit a miss with these people. I had some good phlebotomist and some really bad ones, they need better training or hire experienced staff because this is discouraging people from coming back to donate.

I’m been donating at this plasma center for almost a year the last time that I donated which was 3 days ago I had a bad situation there. I start a feeling nauseous and hot. As the phlebotomist was going by me, I said ma’am, ma’am and she didn’t hear me. This is when I passed out and I wasn’t aware that I passed out until I told the manager to look at the video. My donating arm lifted all the way up to my chest and the needle went all the way into my arm also my body jerked and then I came out if it again. That’s when the phlebotomist finally came over to me which was after she unhooked someone else. I was never seen by the nurse and when I left I felt so weak and out of it. They close the case because they say they were in compliance with all the rules and regulations so I guess not supervising the patients is being in compliance or they just got a slap on the hand. How so extremely unprofessional. I will never, ever donate there again. This place is bad. The phlebotomist talk to each other, visit with each other. Tell each other about what they did last night. They’re more involved in their conversations, and they are the patients. BEWARE!!!!!!

There’s one phlebotomist I’ll say that is good at sticking, the rest are a hit or miss. Have multiple bruises happened b/c they keep readjusting and going into the wrong angle and position after the first stick. My hydration is great yet they kept saying it’s my hydration.

If you’re thinking of using a referral, DON’T. Never have I had such complications trying to get compensation for a referral through a 1-800 number. Staff is nice though.

I’ve never had problems donating blood before coming here, keeping in mind that while I do have only one really solid vein, it’s been capable of having donated several 2 hour long platelet procedures. Even still I’m gaslit and told my vein is “small” or otherwise snide comments aiming at my weight to be the problem are made. So needless to say (some/most) of the phlebotomists lack skill and most basic bedside manner and it’s our fault lol Won’t be giving them the benefit of the doubt again, Oh and they touch the scrub site after cleaning!!
