CSL Plasma is amazing. All I have to do is donate plasma and I get money. It’s sterile, the beds are comfortable, they treat you wonderfully and they give you Capri suns and crackers. I have no complaints, I will keep coming back here as much as possible.

I have gone up there several times to try to donate. I’m given different reasons why each time. This time was because I scratched my arm and it left a mark. Last time I had cat scratches on my hand, time before that I had gotten a required vaccine a week prior and had to wait until 6 weeks later. So I’m not bothering anymore. I’m up there an hour plus to find out I can’t..

Donated on my 5th donation and was informed I would receive 100 dollars before I went back.. after I was done I was told, I would only get 50 dollars. Went and talked to a manager about the issue and was told I was one day late on within the first 30 days.. and therefore I would only get 50.. I told her I was told I was supposed to be getting 100 and they wouldn’t do anything to help make it right and basically was told to back off… I call customer service and informed them and they said there nothing they can do… I WILL NOT BE BACK TO CSL OR DONATE THERE ANYMORE.

There are people there who will say your hematocrit is low because they get a thrill out of deferring people. They do this when your hematocrit is actually normal, they just say it’s low because they get some sort of high from telling you that you can’t donate. On certain weekdays there is a lady there that all of the regulars know she will defer you because she doesn’t want to work extra. The visitors who know her refuse to be screened by her, because she will say your hematocrit is low every time. One night I got there at 6:50 pm, there were 7 of us waiting in line, all 7 of us got deferred because we all had a hematocrit of 37 and it conveniently happened at the time she was due to go home. I have gotten deferred for a low hematocrit here many times and immediately went up the road to BioLife, and at BioLife my hematocrit was normal. This is not a good place to donate plasma at. I found a good place and it is called octapharma plasma. There are some good people who work here, but the bad people make it undesirable. I probably won’t return.

Went and TRIED to donate on more than 5 occasions and was told every single time I was differed due to some mediocre or minor thing if it wasn’t my attitude after getting differed, I was told I was going to speak with a manager about said incident, waited on their call back which was SUPPOSED to be an hoirnturned into a day and I called twice at that just to be told I’m PERMANENTLY differed after driving BACK up there… total of 5vtrips for absolutely nothing!

I personally belive that CSL violated my personal medical rights that’s suppose to pretect me under the hippa-law. This place is a medical facility but not a mental facility. So when I enter the premise my rights at enforced then why am I having to answer questions about my mental state of mind to anyone then? Then asked if I wanted to donate like I’m being threatened if I don’t comply with there demands. Personally my state of .ind is no concern or diagnosis. Then to tell me I won’t be able to donate if I don’t comply. Totally wrong!!!!

Over an hour just to get in line to be stuck. Obviously keeping only one area open and making donors wait when not necessary. I’ve been to many other CSL’s and this one by far is the worst one I’ve been to. No one wants to be waiting 5 years just to give blood. And it’s not due to the staff other places have been way more understaffed and processed people much quicker.

I just left CSL plasma today to make a long story short there was eight already prepared chairs there and three people on that same side was still pumping and they made us stand there all day and we were all tired of standing!!! They could at least call eight people instead of having us to wait for the last three people to do their last pump in order for us to have a seat for donation which I thought that was rude! I left without donating I guess they wouldn’t care to take my plasma.
