I would search around for the center paying the highest for new donors it’s not really worth the wait if your under 150 lbs and driving into Champaign to donate you get $90 not $100 first donation I guess weight matters not you being the person supplying the product they need to stay open return donors appear to be druggies for going rates of $40 & $60

Either the equipment they use is shoddy or 80% of the techs in back don’t know what they are doing. I’ve been donating here since May 2023, and the past 5 visits I have left with massive bruises on whichever arm used. I was denied the full new donor bonus due to them bruising me on my 3rd visit and not being able to go back for two weeks. I changed my diet and drink plenty of water to make the process smoother and they still can’t take my blood without inserting the needle wrong. My last visit I was hooked up for two hours because the machine stopped working and beeped loudly and one technician just looked at it and walked away because he couldn’t be bothered to help. I left extremely lightheaded and dizzy and I still feel terrible the next day. You’re better off trying other donation centers.

The center has gotten better as far as speed, and the workers are very friendly! Recently I have been having issues regarding payments, but otherwise I have been impressed with the customer service and general experience!

First setting foot into csl, I was immediately greeted with smiles from a couple of employees. Csl employees worked quickly and safety conscience. They all have such great attitudes. I will be coming back again. I really love how once Im in the building it is only short period of time until I’m done giving plasma and out of the building.

CSL plasma is by for the best plasma donation center out of the three in Champaign urbana. I have been to all three In the past couple years and I give this plasma center a very high recommendation. With your first experience it will take just a little but longer but it is still the quickest in town! Staff is super friendly fast, and efficient!

This place is absolutely the worst the last time they took me in they messed both my arms up and blowed both my veins out, and only gave me $45 for my pain and suffering if you love getting shanked by nurses with an experience by all means, have fun, but I would never donate there again and I always implore everybody to check out KED plasma they are a lot nicer and a little more professional -10 out of 10 wish there was a half star option or a zero star option

The staff was PHENOMINAL! I really enjoyed my visit. I was leary about giving plasma there at first, but the staff members calmed me down, and I understood the process much better, and although there was a tiny bit of pain, and lots of “reflection” time (45 mins to an hour — have donated twice now), everything turned out well. Kudos to Champaign CSL Plasma and staff!
