Kudos to CSL in Milwaukee. It was a rocky beginning but supervisor Sarah made sure changes were made to ensure that all donors are being treated with respect and dignity and there not appear to be judgment. I have attended 4x with being able to provide 2x, but the team gave insight on possible causes and motivated me to return. Shout out to Amy, Larry, and the other staff especially on 5/18/2022, who kept donors entertained and pumping to keep minds off of wait time and donation time. it worked. Others who were disgruntled were offered VIP passes to return and skip a line. Cleanliness 100% and consistent. Amy and gentleman i had are the best (Poker) thus far, but I hopefully get to experience others. Larry is a hoot and with keep you going, just ask him to wait until after blood pressure to Crack you up. I feel name tags should be visible , so donors know who they can give a shout out to, because there were a few others who were very attentive. Best for last, Sarah (supervisor), contacted me to ensure issues were not just addressed, but changes made to alleviate negative experiences. Thank you Sarah.

Knew drug testing was a joke for donors (obvious junkies donating) but employees smelling like weed while working is not ok! Fixed the ridiculous wait time, new employees aren’t great, no one has experience, Kristen is the only one able to stick me well. They don’t maintain the bathrooms well probably because they have their own emoloyee bathroom.

They handled me really well during the pandemic. But deferred me because their employees ruined my veins. They talk all slick at the mouth when you ask for accommodations. Not only that they said once I was deferred I started threatening employees like for what? Over donating blood? They need to get serious lmfao.

I’ve been donating plasma for YEARS and the only time I’ve ever had issues has been here and within the last month or so. Not all of your staff is trained properly. Management is rude. How are you going to take over a pint of my blood (without taking plasma) and then differ me for your employees mistakes? This place is an absolute joke.

I was a little wary after reading such negative reviews, and I held off my own judgement for several visits now, but my fear seems to be unfounded! It gets a little busy sometimes and everything does take time, but the staff has been extremely friendly, personable, and helpful, and I’ve had a really positive experience each time.

This is the worst run place that I’ve ever seen. The people complain about how busy they are to one another as they stand around and talk. When I was getting checked out by there medical person she told me that I needed a slip signed by my doctor because of a pill that I was on. My doctor had to fax it to them 3 times because they could never find the first 2. I called them to see if there medical expert said that I could donate because they never called me. Whoever this so called expert was wanted more information but never said what they wanted and what a surprise no body contacted me about that either. I figure that they’ll black list me so I can’t donate anywhere else because of this review but that’s okay because there’s no other place close to me.

Came in on a slow Sunday. My wife try’s to donate regularly. I went in to try and do the right thing also. Got up and went through questionnaire and watched video to be sat down waiting for physical. Waited 15 mins then others started to come sit to be seen. I waited 45 mins while they called every person except me then waited another 10 mins before someone else came to sit down and was called in right away. Is this because I was new? If this is how to treat people trying to help by donating then good luck getting donors. I will never go through that again. Lost a donor for life.

I have donated at this center about 4-5 times now and each time the staff has been excellent especially with how short staffed they are currently. There have been a couple occasions where my pulse was too high due the first time my vitals were checked and on one occasion Christie (the woman checking my vitals) went out of her way to calm me down prior to checking my vitals again, she didn’t have to do this but did anyways and that act of kindness to essentially a stranger just goes to show the kind of awesome person she is. The second occasion where my pulse was high nurse Lisa brought me to the exam room and talked with me along with giving me several options and techniques to calm down and relax my heart rate. Lisa and Christie are just exceptional people who aren’t just great at their job but are genuinely good and kind people as well. I highly recommend donating here!
