I’ve been coming here a long time. And the staff is great. However, you guys hired a new girl and I was done giving blood, waiting for her to take the needle out. She took care of the people that was behind me in line, 3 people, and I’m not usually a complainer, but having a needle in my arm for 20 more minutes when I didn’t have to was unpleasant.

Staff are wonderful. But the fact that I make an “appointment” on the app, just to see at least a 2 hour wait, just to get in a bed? No thanks! You need to hire more staff. This is not acceptable. If I could give the company a zero, I would. As for the staff? they get a 10! I’m amazed you can keep any staff when you have this type of workload with the staff to keep it going. I’ve deleted a months worth of ::appointments” because of this.

The employees care more about taking their breaks especially when it’s a line almost out the door their are some workers who work fast to get vitals and some who take there sweet time when going to the donating floor some take there time to unhook you from the machines and get mad if your letting them know your finished this is every single time I’ve gone to donate and when I asked other visitors they say the same thing… they need more staff to do better cause it’s still not getting any better

I went to CSL Plasma and got checked in, tested, sat down, and ready to be stuck and go on with the process. A guy with long hair came and told me to clench my fist while he rubbed the stuff on my arm. He proceeded to poke me with the needle without telling me to unclench my fist. It hurt so bad but I kept going. After he started the machine, he walked away for less than 10 minutes before it stopped working. An older lady saw I was in distress and moving around and came to ask what was wrong in a rude tone. I told her it stopped working and my arm hurt alot more than it should ( I have done this MANY times) and she messed with the machine and walked away. It did nothing. The pain was getting worse and worse. She came back and I was almost in tears. I asked if she can take it out and she told me I have to get it put in the other arm. I told her no, given the amount of pain I was already in. She came over and played with the needle. Moving it around and fiddling with it. She messes with the machine and it inflates my arm band so hard it hurts in itself. I tell her I can’t stand it anymore and she throws a fit and said “I can’t do this anymore” and walked away. She returned and turned everything off, quickly yanking the needle out of my arm and wrapping it so tight, my whole arm went painfully numb. She told me to leave in 15 minutes and I wouldn’t be aloud to return for one week. She came back by about 5-10 minutes later and said “Oh you can leave now” with attitude.

The business on Apple avenue in Muskegon Michigan is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. In order to donate plasma one time I had to make multiple trips to the plasma place because they had problems. The second time I tried to donate I showed up at their facility at 5:45 a.m. was the first person in line and waited over an hour to go in. The app would not let me do the pre-screen. And the kiosks would not read my fingerprint. After waiting an hour outside in line 30 people got to cut in front of me. A waste of time. Trash

Corporate has a hiring freeze so staff is over worked and plan to stand in line for at least 2 hours before you can donate. Pretty ridiculous! They need more employees to keep the line moving.

I have two problems with this place one there’s nowhere to set one in line. They should have a bench that wraps around the wall, so people can just scoot down. Two there are not TV in the Donate in room. It would help kill time.

I am not one for leaving a bad review, but the way I’ve been treated by this idiotic company is beyond unprofessional. I am now on probation, due to the incompetence and stupidity of the staff. Several times they have not properly inserted the needle causing a no or poor flow, wheb this has happened they have needed to readjusted the needle and at times that caused a no flow or no return. On multiple occasions the staff have completely missed my vein were I wasn’t able to donate at all. When this issue was addressed I was the one they blamed, it was my fault i didn’t flow properly. It was my fault I wasn’t able to complete my donation even after they had to readjust the needle that had been placed wrong. It was my fault the staff missed my vein resulting in a non donation day. I understand their bottom line is to get plasma, but it is unprofessional and idiotic to blame the donor when it is clearly the staff’s fault. If I no flow again for any reason or they miss the vein again I will not be allowed to donate with the explanation that I don’t have fit enough veins to donate. Yes, I have had bad flow days with no issue from the needle, but the majority of the time it is due to not being poked properly in the frost place. This company needs to stop blaming their donors and look more at their staff, their training, and how they can address issues like this without punishing or blaming the donor.

CSL Muskegon has an incredible staff. So many people are struggling right now and have to resort to donating plasma to get by; the kindness the staff shows to the people who come into the place shows great care and compassion. I would like to mention one person in particular—Jessica. She worked with me on my first donation and could not have made me feel more welcome and relaxed—her sweet, soft-spoken demeanor and concern for me made, what seemed like a very daunting endeavor, much more pleasant. She even came onto the donor floor to check on me! I have worked in hospitality and customer service all my life and Jessica is the standard to which all employers should be holding every one of their employees!
