Giving an extra star out of generosity because I didn’t have issues until my last visit.

It’s ok to start with, it’s clean and the staff is friendly but they don’t pay enough. They get $1500 for each bottle of plasma we give but only pay us like $40 -60 per bottle when we have to drive to get here, stand in line for hours cause they are greatly overstaffed and everything else we have to deal with. Griffols at least pays 150/week for regular donors and 300 a week for the first two weeks.

I only rated as high as 2 stars because of the donor fee rates. I visited on Dec 22nd at opening time. It took 3 hours to get seated on a donation table! It didn’t even take that long when I was doing the lapsed/new donor process 2 days prior. Actually, it has NEVER taken that long to do a donation, and I had to go to work afterward. Although they were moving with no urgency, I couldn’t be angry at the staff because it wasn’t their fault the center is so short-staffed.

Very clean and sanitary, smells pleasant. Staff is welcoming in the front when you take your initial levels. Staff in the back is nice, trained, and professional. First time donors are explained the process by multiple people from the doctor doing your intake to the people drawing the plasma. It can get busy when people come after work, but if there isn’t a line the process is always as quick as it can be. Never had a problem, encourage people to donate.

The intake for my first donation took an extremely long time, but that seems to be pretty standard for plasma donation centers. The staff were polite and helpful, and the phlebotomist who assisted me was excellent (great, painless stick and awesome sense of humor! I wish I had caught his name!). Be aware that this center does not provide any “comforts” while donating like blankets, water, or snacks so be prepared to be well fed/hydrated before you arrive and pack something warm for when the saline goes in. Overall great experience, excited to make this part of my regular routine.

The staff is friendly, the environment is clean, and you get in and out fast. The first donation takes a while, because they have a lot to go over, but after that you can be in and out in less than an hour. Make sure you drink lots of water the day before you donate!

Absolutely dreadful! I went in for my usual donation, I noticed there is always an new inexperienced person or problem. They stab you with needles and constantly miss your vein due to the lack of experience and education. When concerns are brought to management’s attention, it falls on deaf ear. The new pay scale for donors is awful, you get deferred for any and every reason, when the purpose is to save lives.
