This facility is very nice and quite large. The staff is always nice and professional. I love seeing the many different personalities! The prices have changed for new and return donors. They have gone down. The parking right in front of the building is very limited, but there is a parking lot right around the corner that is for guests and donors. The parking directly behind the building is for employees only, so don’t park there.

First time ever donating plasma and I was attended by the best customer service I’ve received in a long time. Everyone is super friendly here and very knowledgeable. From the quick, easy, and very welcoming interview with Kevin whom it was such a pleasure to meet such a friendly and welcoming soul as my first time here. I was a little nervous for my first donation but Kevin was such an easy to talk to individual, It made me feel calmer. To my vitals check in with Maria who made me feel comfortable and informed about my health, and my physical exam with nurse Berta who created a safe space for me and was so helpful and sweet. I would also like to acknowledge how professional and helpful all the phlebotomists on the donor floor are. Seeing how well they work with each other and implement teamwork when needed was great. I had the pleasure to be treated by Edwin and Chris who were very professional and made me feel safe and well taken care of during my time there. I’m extremely thankful for their help as well as the rest of the staff that helped me during my visit. I would definitely be coming back to this center. Thank you tons!

So Peaceful
The place is nice and all need to be toned in to the same protocol. The first time I went the turned me away on some clause about my weight that I didn’t see on the site or on the video they had us watch, if so I would not have wasted my time.

I had a very good experience, the staff at the front desk was friendly. Berta and Maria were very amiable. Then on the donor floor Ms. Lymary attended me very professionally, she explained the process to me and was gentle with my thin veins. Ms. Lymary checked on me often until I finished my donation, she was very caring. TWO THUMBS UP!!!

This is my third experience at the CSL Plasma. Today, I was brought under the caring of a worker named Andrea, who made an error with transferring my blood into the machine next to me that was supposed to separate my plasma from my blood, and, into this clear tube connected to the machine. She put the needle in my arm, and I lied there as blood was being taken from my left arm, with no plasma being transferred. After a while, I was finally noticed by a different doctor, who tried to help by pushing the needle in and out of my right arm to try to find a vain, I guess, but didn’t work. Then she switched to my right arm, doing the same thing, which was also unsuccessful, and annoyingly painful to endure. As this doctor is ‘assissiting” me, the previous docter, Andrea, came by asking what was going on, and the other doctor told her that the machine wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do, Andrea’s response was, “again?”, as if this has happened before, and then she just walked off. After a while of failed transfusions, and me starting to feel lightheaded, they decided to end the session early, and gave me a lousy tip of $65 for taking a good amount of blood from both of my arms.

I never write reviews ever but today really got to me because of one person that works there I would love to give a 5⭐️ but I have to make it a 3 just because of him but dont get me wrong I love this place and everyone there. But Only thing I don’t agree on is the bonus payments are ridiculous just because my wight is 132 I only get $35 while everyone else gets 50+. It’s not my fault I’m a small person. Then the bonus for the month good once every 6 month. They want to be cheap by doing raffles knowing it’s a once in a million you would ever have a chance to win. Every other plasma center pay more and have way better bonus thats worth your time but I dont care because the staff make up for it but the worst thing in the homestead plasma center is the wanna be Security guard that thinks he is a cop. He is the white Spanish guy, he is so rude and everything bothers him. He thinks he owns the place. I tried to be nice to him, tried to make conversation, and tried to even say goodmorning but he ignored me he talks to you like he has something against you. He stands next to people to hear what your talking about and wants to be in charge of everyone in there and he is like that with everyone. If I get a water he confronts me to make sure It’s my first and only one I got or if I use the phone he makes sure I only make one call. Or if I’m waiting on someone he demands I’m only there 10mins because the lobby should be cleard. The other 2 security guards are amazing and the most sweetest people with such a big heart willing to help you and treat you with respect and really care about the donors. I really want management to know about him and of course he will say I’m lying to save his job but I wish the manager knew what he told me and I’m going to talk to management about him because this is not okay.
