Donated plasma here around year 2020 when the economic shut down happened because of virus Covid-19. My job closed down & I was struggling with my bills. I resolved to sell my plasma for cash. It was $800 back then but now it’s only $500. The recession of 2023 is really affecting Gwinnett & there isn’t any job around Duluth city hiring for permanent. $500 is $500 & no one is just going to hand you cash. Anyways, a person has to be at least 110 lbs to donate plasma. After 6 months, your record starts over again & you become a new patient. Online and team members are usually very helpful & quick with what they do.

This location the workers seemed nice, but this location needs major adjustments. I feel that workers lack a sense of urgency, organization skills, and time management. The fact of the matter is I waited for almost 2 hours to be taken to have my blood drawn. When the lady at the desk told another person that it would 3 hours til he could b seen I just left. The workers also mixed up the order of multiple people waiting.

I have had the best experience here at the Riverside location of CSL! It is a blessing to be able to do my part in helping others thrive and survive! The staff are always friendly and helpful – especially Jackie, Silvia, Kevin, T.T., Tempest, Jeff, and Keisha!

I hadn’t been here in 3 years and I was beyond impressed. I was immediately taken care of, everyone was so sweet, and I can’t tell you how much it warmed my heart to see familiar faces! I will absolutely be returning and referring.

I’m a new donor went in for my first plasma donation and after 2.5 hours of vitals, physical, and waiting, at the very last step (actually donating) I was told “this isn’t for me” and was deferred from EVER donating at CSL for “bad veins”. I have donated blood elsewhere and have had several IVs and know I don’t have “bad veins”, I was probably just dehydrated… instead of allowing me to skip on this time and come back to check again I was deferred from ever donating at any CSL. Super unprofessional and a complete waste of time and consumed most of my day. Would never recommend this place.

The staff are nice but they know 20 or 30 people are gonna be here even before the doors open and they have 2 people checking vitals….. ridiculous…if I could give a negative 5 star I would!!!

Great place and some people are professional… I had a phlobotomist stick me and bruised my arm very bad today. Honestly she didn’t check the vein before inserting the needle. The way she talk, She sound alittle cocky, with attitude and seems to know it all. Definitely I don’t want her sticking me next time.

The staff is always friendly, especially Jackie! The process is always quick. 8:30 a.m. seems to be a great time. In and out within an hour.

Honestly the worse experience ever. I endured my visits here, had 2 machines malfunction while attending the past 6 months, in many cases staff very unprofessional, today told I had to get documents stating I was dehydrated from my local emergency room , after driving many miles to get there, however nothing states I need to bring such items, I’m healthy, and my arms are scarred up from donating, I will never visit another CSL in this lifetime and recommend you don’t either. Don’t believe me try it out you’ll see, try telling them to stop the process and see what happens, I did twice, and couldn’t get assistance, several times the machine was faulty and I got ignored. Go see for yourself
