This place sucks. I waited for 3 hours, then I was sent away because I donated blood a month ago. Wjy wasn’t this a question asked at the beginning if the process???They were staffed to the max, Staff everywhere, curse words flying out of their mouths, yet I waited 3 hours to be turned away. How unprofessional and absolutely ridiculous. I walked in and was sent to the new patient area, only two people in front of me. I thought it would be quick…wrong. I waited for almost three hours. Finallly get back to the office where they ask questions, a circle of staff standing around, chatting it up…not about work! Why did I wait so long if you all are standing around talking?!? More cursing. I made it back to the final point where I was turned away bc I donated blood a month ago. Why isn’t this a question asked from the jump! Three frigging hours!!! Not to mention the bathrooms were disgusting. You would think because it’s a medically “professional ” business it would be clean and efficient. What a joke.

I’ve been donating here for a year and I’ve always had great experiences. Always friendly staff, always decent wait times. Idk what’s been happening with this place the last couple of months but the wait times are insanely, ridiculously high. It can take anywhere from an hour to three. The staff are still super great and stuff, but PLEASE do something about the wait.

Today, I arrived to find the facility closed. When googled it showed open with real time as less than normal busy. I called and the number was busy. It would have been helpful if closed status was updated by showing on line and by phone recording.. When the public interacts with medical facilities we expect professionalism in every way including informing when closed.

This place is always understaffed which causes long wait times. The staff is very unprofessional. The staff do more complaining then working. They curse and talk about people and their personal business. Management does not come out to assist the staff. The last time I was there, there where people in line actually getting high from vaping. Security did nothing. I waited in line for over 3 hrs. I’ve been to other plasma donation sites in the area CSL is the worst.

After waiting in line for almost two hours before being called to the donor floor I was then left waiting to be hooked up for 50 minutes. The tech told me to wait while they assisted with taking down another donor but then actually left the donor floor and I was just left there waiting. This used to be a nice experience but it has become horrible. At one point today the donor floor was left completely unattended, I was waiting to be hooked up and five people that I was aware of had been waiting over 30 minutes to be taken down and no one was attending the floor and taking care of the donors.

They do not change gloves after taking blood during vitals check. Asked if they changes gloves between patients she lied and said yes even though she had no gloves at her station gloves stored on the wall behind her, i know this because she got up to get 1 glove not 2 just 1. Blood exposure likely from staff uncleanness. Visit at your own risk…..

I’ve never had to go through such a headache to be able to donate plasma. When I went for my initial visit as a new donor, they were pretty busy so I was more than happy to wait knowing that I would have to do the new donor physical and other necessary paperwork. However, upon having already received my compensation card and ready to get my vitals checked, I was told that since I was on 3 or more prescriptions for the same diagnosis that I would not be allowed to donate. I was confused, as none of my prescriptions are on the list of medications that would affect your eligibility to donate. So I was told that I would need a letter from my provider if any of my medications were to change. I’ve donated plasma in the past, within the last month at another company, and I have NEVER received such push back about being able to donate, especially after having already completed the majority of the new donor processes and procedures. This information is nowhere to be found on the CSL website or anywhere else for that matter. It doesn’t make any sense that the number of prescriptions you are on for one diagnosis should effect your eligibility to donate, especially if those medications aren’t regularly taken — for example, I am on a monthly injection for migraines, a medication to take for onset of migraine, and a daily migraine preventative medication. Therefore, I’m unable to donate due to being on 3 medications for the same diagnosis? How does that make any sense? Why make this process harder than it needs to be? Especially when honest people are just trying to make a difference by donating their plasma and you have people literally smoking and getting high outside before coming in to donate but I can’t?? Nice.

Clean facility which is a plus. Some of the staff you can hear cussing & talking about others, to me it’s unprofessional. Staff over all have been nice. There are a couple girls there who come up to you and don’t say hi or anything. I was in patient care for a long time at Baptist Hospital and my patients were very important. I do plasma bc I have family who is sick and bake me feel better I am helping others. All I think os they could be more welcoming to donors not all are here just for money. Also when the saline is done running I see phlebotomist look straight at you and you sit there forever after the donation. Today I sat 25 minutes after it was done and I seen the girl look at me a few times. My whole arm went numb. No one smiles they just look as if they hate their jobs besides this one y’all man there who makes me smile every time bc he looks like he’s happy to be there.

I’ve only donated twice and the actual phlebotomists that start the process are usually pretty nice. But the intake to get your vitals and the wait time to actually donate is horrible. You have to get there at 6am just to get a spot in line so you can get a chair to donate. If not, do not be surprised if you have to wait upwards of 3 hours to donate

This place is horrible. The line is currently 60+ people long with just two people running the entire floor. Wait times are literally three hours or more. You’re much better off driving to the next closest plasma center. Infuriating is a good description of how CSL plasma operates.
