This is the only CSL plasma location that is able to find my veins. Vital & nurse staff are the sweetest people here. Receptionist aren’t the best but I don’t deal with them often enough for me to usually have problems with them. This is far from my house, but I would rather come to this location than any other location. I just love it here! I love it even more that I get to see my black & brown brothers and sisters here working and doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. Energy is always great everytime a i come. Thank you

Brought my social security card and my MA license (I moved from Boston to Philadelphia) They asked me if I had anything that could prove I live in PA. I had my lease. They did not accept my lease because it had “too many people on it”. When the lady was looking at it she said “Who are all these people on the lease?” I said roommates. She puts me in the system then goes “so leases are supposed to have one person on them (which is not true) so I couldn’t proceed. Then she wanted me to bring a piece of mail with just my name on it. Why do they think a lease is only supposed to have one person? Very unrealistic assumption and I should have been able to use my lease since It’s a valid legal document with my name on it.

They are very unprofessional. One of the workers purposely messed with the needle in my arm so I’d no flow. Two others, when on shift, will leave me on the chair waiting to be unhooked for a half hr straight when they see me. They need new staff asap.

Waited in the waiting room for 2 hours as a new donor then finally got to answer the questions, had them check my blood levels, my heart, eyes, ears etc and was good to go. Only for them to have me sit in the chair to finally donate 3 hours after I arrived to tell me that my veins aren’t suitable enough for donation. They were also training a bunch of new staff here when I went yesterday which was nerving.

I gave 2 stars because front desk worker had an attitude problem like if all people that walk into the door should have knowledge of what to do. This was my 1st time donating and overall, majority of staff needs customer service training. Also gloves were being reused while touching each patient.

Upon approaching the front desk, my sister stated what she was there for. I don’t know if the young lady was having a bad day but the attitude wasn’t good. When you’re a new donor, you must bring your Social & ID and present it to the person at the front desk. You will be given headphones that are in an unopened bag & you are told to sit & wait until a computer is available. There are two computer stations at this location. When the person before you is done, you walk over for your turn. However, you must be alert as there is no one there to direct you. There are people sitting in the Waiting Area for different reasons so you must ask if anyone else is awaiting to watch the video so you don’t taking someone else’s turn. The video is about 10 minutes long with detailed instructions of the donation process. Although we are given headphones, many decide to sit there without plugging them in. In addition, prior to approaching the computer station; no one came over to disinfect it NOR was there anything there (like Clorox or Lysol wipes) so that we can disinfect the area ourselves. So now we are forced to touch the screen where the person prior had their fingers on it (as you must double tap the screen to begin the video & it took more than tapping just twice for it to work). The headphones the man used prior to me, he left them there along with his trash. There were about three small empty clear plastic bags on the computer table. Those bags were left behind by all those who opened their headphones & didn’t take their trash with them. After the video, I didn’t know what to do so I asked a man behind a desk who told me to sit & wait until my name is called. Did just that. Eventually, my name was called & I was directed to enter a room where you’ll get asked a series of personal questions. I don’t know if the girl who attended to me was in training but there were two other employees standing there while I was questioned. Not to mention, they would frequently have conversations, giggle & use profanity. You’ll be asked to answer about 60 questions on a computer screen. Your finger will also get pricked for testing, your weight is taken & your blood pressure (which is expected). You get told to sit on a green chair until a Nurse calls you. The Nurse I had was very kind & informative. Wish I remembered her name. She was young with braids. She answered any of my questions with much kindness. So now it’s time to donate. When you walk back there, it can feel a little intimidating for the 1st time so I stood standing there until someone said “Next”. Had no clue who said it until I asked Security who happened to be there so she asked who called “Next”. The lady I got kindly explained everything to me while she was being monitored by someone. Think she was a new hire. The conversations that take place while donating should not be where we can all hear it. There were two employees chatting with donors who are probably regular donors as the conversations were personal. The music played at this location was far from relaxing. They were literally playing hip hop/rap. Totally unacceptable. Just because the place may be considered “being in the hood”; you shouldn’t bring the “hood” inside the work facility. The environment was ratchet; not professional. There was a worker who was pregnant (black woman) who was miserable. A lady was done & made it known to her. She told her to wait. Fifteen minutes later, she asked another worker for help. He went to the pregnant lady & she told him she was already told she must wait. Lastly, I do not understand why the Employees don’t change their gloves after inserting a needle on each donor. People are being touched with the same gloves! PLEASE CHANGE GLOVES AFTER EACH DONOR. Couldn’t get out of there quick enough. I will be going to another location but this time I’ll make it a point to read the reviews first! What I read on these reviews is TRUE.

The worst one period. I hate this place. Nobody communicates , all the girls have an attitude and you have to repeatedly do the screening because they’ll forget to save you in the system. This place is awful

Don’t go, they will waste your time. Management was very unprofessional and staff seemed very unknowledgeable about their company’s most basic protocols.
