I now have two children with cord blood storage with Cord for Life and I couldn’t be happier with their system! The paperwork isn’t complicated, yet thorough. Their tour was excellent and offered during both of my pregnancies. I had so many questions and they were all answered! My payment plan is affordable, especially compared to other companies, and I was pleased to receive a referral discount when my neighbor chose to store her cord blood with Cord for Life also!

Horrible experience. We went through all the trouble setting this up just to have the donation wasted. We gave birth close to midnight and called the number as requested in the donation package. Cord for Life uses an answering service after hours. That answering service has no idea what was going on nor did they care. The told us to keep it cold and just mail it. No explanation beyond that. 10 hours later when Cord for Life actually called us back they said they would refuse the donation since it was kept cold. For something so important the lack of attention is alarming. Every other service apparently uses a 24 hour couriers. Even the hospital couldn’t believe we were suppose to “mail” it. Do not use this service!! Use any other service that uses couriers. Unless you plan on having a child during “business hours”.

Cord for Life has been a part of my family since our first son was born. We trusted cord blood with all of our babies and our family. This was a simple process that served as a means to potentially help our family down the road if needed. The company was professional and the process was super easy. We didn’t hesitate on banking more than once as Cord for Life was our only trusted choice. Our children are our biggest accomplishments and we want to protect them any way we can. We trust Cord for Life with our family and we would highly recommend them to anyone considering banking cord blood.

I stored my cord blood with Cord for Life in 2005. It was an extremely easy process and I feel secure it will be maintained if I ever need it. Being a Cancer survivor storing my child’s cord blood gives me peace of mind for my family. I highly recommend Cord for Life.

Spent hours filling out paperwork and doctors and nurses spent hours collecting and carefully packing up cord blood, only to have the courier arranged by Cord for Life not show up and having to discard the unit. No one checks messages after 7pm. When we called the next morning employees shrugged it off and were rude and patronizing. Extremely frustrating and don’t it recommend donating cord blood to this disorganized “volunteer” run organization.

I had a great experience with this company. Yes, there is paperwork, but that is standard across the board. The staff was professional, informative, and very friendly. There were instructions for the doctors inside the collection kit and pick-up was easy/on time. My doctor even said this was the best company they collected for! I highly recommend Cord For Life!!

Exact same experience as the previous review. It took a long time and effort to do all the paperwork and to make sure the staff collect the cord and after everything done from our side, their pick up didn’t work. They blame the company, but when I saw they were running late I called the office before closing time and they didn’t seem to be worried. At the end we had to dispose the cord because it was too much time since collection. Very disappointed and frustrated with this place.
