My first-time donating blood at Cascade Regional Blood Services was a breeze! The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a relatively short and painless experience. PLUS I got a cool t-shirt. Kudos to the wonderful team making a positive impact on our community!

The first time I was there, the staff was patient and communicative throughout the entire process. However, on my next visit, I was paired with a new phlebotomist and the donation left me in a lot of pain. On my final donation, I had a really experienced phlebotomist, but I was handed off to another newbie right before they stuck the needle in, resulting in a bad stick which nearly caused me to black out and they wound up canceling the donation. I used to donate a lot when I lived in Arizona, and I never had an unpleasant experience until I donated here. It really matters who you get paired with.

I’ve been donating blood for quite some time here and they are always relatively quick, friendly and thorough. Their procedures are safe and clean. I find the staff very knowledgeable. The first time I donated was on Halloween and the phlebotomist was dressed as a vampire. That’s funny.

I have been donating for 30 some years, working on 25 gallons. I am committed to donating and Cascade Bloodbank has made each and every experience good— obviously, I keep coming back . Thank you for providing a service that allows me to feel like I’m contributing and and helping people. Your staff is always welcoming and professional. Of course, the juice and cookies are great, as well!

My experience here has been wonderful. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Also they are understanding if you are nervous, I went here when I donated blood for the first time and the staff put me at ease. Iv’e continued to donate here since.

I went today because I saw that they were in critical need of O+ blood and was told I couldn’t donate because I take antibiotic to treat acne. I was really disappointed. The person who went my paperwork was very unprofessional and rude. I literally had to tell him to move because he was blocking the door on my way out. I am giving 3 starts because the lady at the front desk was very nice.

It has been about 4 years since I have donated. Today I went to a mobile unit, they were using blood pressure cuffs to find my veins. I’m a small person I need a smaller cuff. It wasn’t even tight.. they couldn’t find my veins 3 people looked. Just shameful.
