First time sharing blood. I want to say the ladies here are some of the nicest people I have met. They were quick to make me laugh and very professional. It was a very pleasant experience and I look forward to the next visit. They made it painless and were sure to make sure I knew what was next. Thank you for a very good experience.

One day years ago I got an emergency call to donate plasma at this location, someone who desperately needed it. I didn’t know the exact reason…transplant? Cancer? Someone needed plasma, but I didn’t care why. My husband and I rushed up there from East Dallas.

Came here as a donor from out of state through bethematch, and I was SO pleased with my care. The facility is clean, the process was timely, and the staff was fantastic! Tamara and Adrianna are the staff members who took care of me, and they are both knowledgeable, professional, and made a great team. Aside from the professional aspects, they were just a joy to be around. Super friendly and funny and made me feel totally at ease. I had a great donation experience here and I highly recommend them!

I’ve never had an issue donating blood in the past but the new person they had attempted and failed to draw my blood. I should have never let her stick me a 2nd time, and the experienced people in there should have taken over and made the 2nd attempt. They tried to fix it but she didn’t follow their instructions the 2nd time when she was told exactly where to stick me. It’s really my fault for allowing her to try again, but I left without being able to donate. They’re also saying that they need double red but then don’t have the kit to take the double red. When they’re claiming there’s a shortage of blood they really should make sure they can get it when a donor comes in. Not sure if I will go back to Carter after this.

Great location, plenty of parking. Staff got me registered in a timely manner. The phlebotomist walked through each step and was clear about the entire process. Felt lightheaded early on and the staff swiftly took action and gave me food, drinks, Ice pack, and placed a fan on me. They were attentive and professional with the whole situation as well as reassuring. Thank you Nicole, Naidelin, Evelyn, and Cavia for your care!

This location knows ZERO about donor recruitment or customer service. I am a platelet donor and willing to let them take six times as long as a normal donation to get the equivalent of eight donors platelets, but when they have building issues they do not call people with appointments to cancel. I wasted an entire morning because I expected to be donating blood because they can not pick up the phone and let people know they have issues. Their customer service is subpar and I am now stuck with the question why am I giving platelets away when plasma services down the street are paying people. Carter needs to get its act together quickly.

Good at keeping appointment times and decent snacks. You can’t ask for much more.

Came here as a first time donor and the staff did a great job! I was a little nervous, but they answered a lot of questions and took great care of me throughout the entire process. My phlebotomist was great(I wish I remembered her name!) and I felt almost no pain and had almost no bruising. I looked away as she put the needle in and she made sure to cover it with some gauze before I looked back so I wouldn’t get freaked out. When I mentioned I have had a tendency to faint in the past, my phlebotomist immediately had someone bring me a sports drink, put ice on my neck and reclined my chair just as a preventative measure. I would recommend this center to any first time donor.

First time and last time, on August 2017, I first walk in the start do paper work . There was a lady talking to me while she taking the blood, once she finished she left me lying down and I was about to lose consciousness, I dont see , every thing I see is dark, I have got very weak, trying to get attention any body but they dont pay attention,, at the end after few minutes, one lady saw me and gave me something to drink to fix my low pressure. They keep calling me to go donate another time. They should not let me go with very low pressure. no way I really dont trust their way how treat their donators.
