Staff really kind, informative and organized. Girl who signed me in and took my information was very welcoming and nice. Girl who took my blood was very gentle and explained every step before she did it. I told her I did not want to look when she poked me so she said she would cover the needle with a cloth so I didn’t have to see very thoughtful. They also continue to check on you and ask if you are okay and how are you feeling throughout the process. This is a GREAT place to go if it’s your very first time donating they are wonderful! Also got a free beach towel for the summer 🙂 Loved my experience so much would definitely come back !!!

I was in and out in under 30 minutes. This was my first time donating with Carter blood care but won’t be the last. The staff was great!

Nobody wears masks, which I’m accustomed to everywhere else now but not in a medical setting. This would be bad enough, but then they attempt to make you take your OWN mask off for an oral temperature check. After nearly 3 years of COVID they should absolutely have a forehead scanner. I just walked out. Don’t donate blood here unless you want to leave sick.

I was extremely disappointed by my visit today. I had an appointment on my lunch hour for a whole blood donation. When I walked in there was no staff visible. When I was finally greet I was told to sign in and sit down. I was asked if I completed in questionnaire online which I had and then told the system was down and I would need to do it manually. I waited about 15 minutes after my appointment time before I was brought back to do my screening and then I waited another 10 minutes after for my screening to even be completed.

Very bad customer service. The workers are rude. Had an appointment and was told I didn’t. They didn’t want to check or admit they were wrong because they had put everything away early. I was prepared to donate blood but the workers were immediately confrontational and rude as soon as I walked in. Go somewhere else to donate blood. I emailed their customer service and never heard back. Don’t let these people poke you. If the way they treat people shows anything they won’t treat your veins much better.

I have mixed feelings about this location. Definitely could use an upgraded interior. Dingy. Front staff and the rest of the staff was just a bit stuck on themselves. Really, that sounds terrible but it’s the only way I can put it. I came in with enthusiasm as I had not given blood for awhile and my church uses Carter for donations as a group. They responded to my enthusiasm with sour, dryness. I’m a well-dressed mature lady, there is nothing about me that would cause such a reaction! I seriously considered leaving and going elsewhere. The intake person was a young woman with a good heart once we got to talking. The process was a bit long but I was fine with a good screening, why not. She did give me a mini-physical so I got to confirm my bp. I think once she realized I was legit she tried to counteract the lack of friendliness there by standing at my side and distracting me as the needle was inserted. The insertion was fine. The kid doing it was alert but not engageable, not at all open to even the shortest exchange of pleasantries. For heaven’s sake, I wasn’t interested in having a counseling session. Just some basic human courtesy. We all have bad days, yet for everyone there to be this cold makes it more than a bad day, it’s a culture for this location. There were a couple others in scrubs hanging around who could not bother to say hello or smile. The sad part is, they were all so self-righteous, they probably think they are acting professionally. Fortunately, I see other Carters not too far away that have a much better atmosphere according to the reviews. I really hate to give bad reviews. It just left me thinking no way I would want to go back there. Just thankful they could get the job done.

The front desk/screener that worked on 11/26 was extremely rude!!! She should not be working in a place that people are coming in on a volunteer basis for help people. After sitting and wait for over an hour WITH A SCHEDULED APPT I left without donating. When I asked about the wait she was condescending and rude – this should NOT be tolerated.
