Staff was friendly and process was quick. If you can give be sure to go. Currently masks worn all around and everything is being cleaned frequently.

Had a great experience. Haven’t gave blood since HS and they made me feel right at home. Liz is the best at her job. She is awesome. Definitely recommend her but all of the staff is very professional at what they do!

Very professional staff. Easy in and out. Susan was extremely professional and a pleasure to have as my donation tech. Everyone was great. Very clean facilities and covid precautions followed. The girl at the front desk was constantly wiping down chairs in the waiting and canteen areas as people donated.

This was my first time at a Carter BloodCare facility, and I found the experience to be great!

Love this Carter’s location! Have done almost all of my donating at this location and plan to keep it that way. The staff know my significant other and myself pretty well by know. I tend to have deeper veins and the same girl does mine every time and I have had no issues! They are great at reacting quickly when someone faints (e.i. Me.. Oops). The staff at this particular location are what inspired me to pursue a phlebotomy career, so would absolutely recommend this location and Carter’s all around!

For an industry that really needs your blood, they are certainly okay with pushing away their customers. Due to a medical condition I’m required to see them several times a year for a specific procedure. I made an appointment on their website and arrived early. I was told that they were unable to honor it because this procedure requires me to call them for the appointment. There were five ladies standing up in the front of a nearly empty room with the specialist who does the procedure also being available so there was definitely capacity. Although upset I went into the parking lot and called the number and had to leave a voice mail. After 40 minutes of no return call I called back and got someone who refused to schedule the appointment there. Yes, there were seats, yes the specialist was there, but no I couldn’t see them because the computer showed them as full. In return she told me I could make an appointment at another location, however it was a two-hour round-trip drive.

I go to Carter Blood Care in Allen every month and I have done so for the past two years. The staff is incredible professional and friendly. I know them by name and they know mine as well. They are timely and really know their stuff. I ask them all sorts of questions about my procedure and other and they always know the answer. They make donating blood/plasma/platelets very convenient. I will continue to go here every month! I suggest you do the same if you are eligible.

I have donated more than 2 gallons blood over the past 5 or 6 years, most of which was with Carter Bloodcare in Allen, TX. The service and care had always been great.

UPDATE Mar 2022. Still doing good work for the sick and injured with blood collection. I came back as my usual donation location was closed today. So I was a walk-in. Screening was the same and on the couch before I knew it. Entertaining movie to watch while bleeding for a good cause. OooRah! Come give a pint of your best even during this virus crises (2020). This was a return visit after long absence as I usually donate at Plano location or their mobile service. Best to make an online appointment to save you and them time. Also complete the questionaire online (PC or phone) with all the usual screening questions before you arrive.
