This was my first visit to an actual donation center, because I’ve typically only donated at Red Cross blood drives. It was a great experience! Everyone at this location was very kind, even though I was a few minutes late for my appointment. Lisa is the kind lady who took my vitals and started my IV to give blood, and she did an excellent job. They also had a very relaxing snack area for you to recover in after giving blood.
