Went through the process for a first time donor, and it was faster than I thought it would be. I was unable to donate for the next few months which kinda sucked, but the staff was well informed, and took the time to explain everything. They said it’s generally $70 each time for those that want to know or compare. Overall good experience.

The management needs to figure it out and get staffed and actually keep a set schedule for the location. They not only cut 3 hours recently from each weekday schedule. They often close for the day or early and never notify donors. This would be fine if we could randomly change our 2 days every week. We can’t though. Therefore your bonus days are impossible due to closures. I’ve tried emailing and calling and the center will not acknowledge. Some people are driving across town from work that they left early for new hours only to arrive to find a note on door. CLOSED. Some even ride the bus to get here… At least notify your donors. I’m signed up for texts and emails and still nothing. I watched 10 other donors try to come. People rely on donations for their medicines and you have donors that are doing this for more than just getting paid they want to help people. None of the other BPL locations nationwide have the low amount of hours that this location does and it’s not even sticking to those hours. Also many people sit in offices over to the left and never step out to help. At my old donation place (a competitor ) managers or other office staff ALWAYS stepped in to assist their staff. No wonder turn over is high. The staff that is actually working is amazing.

Can’t donate if u have irregular heart beat or if u have a mental issue such as social anxiety heart beat gave to be below 100 pulse per minute which wasn’t in the video or book.
