I am a fairly new patient and almost every time I come in there is an issue with my donation. I have been re-stuck multiple times and given a hematoma once. A lot of the staff (but of course not all) act as if they don’t really want to be there and that’s okay, just don’t push it out onto the donors. This last time I donated they re-stuck me after doing some adjustments and when my second arm did not work either, it they were going to re-stick me again to return my blood but when they pulled the needle out it was clotted so I left with a 56 day deferral and zero payment. I am a very patient and understanding person but when it takes about 2-3 hours every time I want to donate because the needles have to be readjusted and re-stuck there’s only so much patience I can have. I’m not sure if there were any preventative measures I could have taken to avoid all of this but nonetheless it’s still extremely frustrating and I will not personally be returning.

I am a new patient and had a bad experience. All the staff did was complain they didn’t want to be there. As a first timer I should be monitored and taught during the process. No just more complaints that they had to deal with a new person making it uncomfortable and walked away and left me there. With their frustration I was neglected and my blood started to clot. They poked me twice and sent me home like I was a problem. Everyone was Rude, had a attitude and was very inconsiderate and with no pay after going through that. I called the facility to try and explain and they offered 5 dollars, like that was good enough for my time and stress after the fact that I was there for hours.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and management yells at staff in front of guests. Seeing the GM yelling at an employee with no regard to the people watching made me extremely uncomfortable. I have never been in an establishment and seen such a gross display of management employee relations. No wonder there is such a long wait all the time because I’m sure the staff is always quitting having to deal with someone like that.

The place is a joke, I called multiple times and was told to come in Saturday morning as a new donor. I showed up and was told they weren’t taking new donors because they were understaffed. The place was totally empty and there was 4 female employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. I should have read the reviews first. Very lazy people.

I have been going to this plasma center for several months because of how close it is to my home. I have had several issues, but my biggest one is the lack of professionalism with some of the staff. I have witnessed cursing and yelling from staff members to other staff members and clients. I have witnessed a lack of training and follow through from the top down. There have been several incidents of staff members talking about clients after they left or while they are still in the building within earshot. Also, there is a lack of communication between staff and clients of when they are going to be touching you and how. This is a problem for a lot of clients who have trauma responses. There is a high turnover rate among staff members and not all protocols are being followed. There are delays in donations due to outdated equipment and overall staff disorganization. When complaining to management, it doesn’t seem like the issues are actually addressed because they still keep happening. I get that people most likely aren’t donating from the kindness of their heart and are doing it for the money, but it’s still a healthcare setting and there needs to be standards of care being practiced here. There are some good staff members here and I applaud them.

3 times I’ve tried to come into this place as a new donor! Every time I came in they had a different reason why they weren’t taking a new donor! The weather, not enough staff, etc…one time I missed the cut off by 7 minutes another time by 15. I even called in advance and asked if they were taking new donors. Ate lunch and came in 30 minutes later. Train your staff to tell new clients what time the cutoff is on the phone! You have wasted my time on 3 separate occasions. Screw your company. I will not be back a 4th time!

With the new system they have they schedule you for the days your allowed to donate and not whenever you have time to do it would not recommend going here if you are on a time crunch and need money the same day you need it
