Unprofessional and will not be returning , the nurse and “supervisor” sat there and let me cry while a needle (which you could feel wasn’t in there 100% correctly) stuck in my arm trying to push blood back into me that wasn’t trying to go back. One moment I’m being told I’ll get paid out in full since it hurt to bad to where I can’t even sit still and crying then the “supervisor” GLADLY came over to make me wait another 20 mins with said needle in my arm and to only not even pay me the correct amount. It’s happened to many times. Bless Judy and Selene up there , they’re the best up there. But to the nurse and “supervisor” be better to your clients, show some empathy especially when you’re the higher ups. Alittle empathy goes along ways with folks & neither of you had any sympathy or empathy for someone sitting there crying right in front of your face.

It takes way longer than an hour on return visits. Plan to spend at least 3 plus at the facility. From walking in just to the area waiting for a machine seems to be on average around 2 plus hours then add the time for donation. I had hoped maybe it was just an every now and then situation but the other donors are saying this is the normal wait time… maybe they are understaffed as over half the beds are completely out of use.

I was donating and something happened with machine and I was told I couldn’t come back for 56 days then they said I had to drink something I don’t drink and I said no thanks and was told I couldn’t come back ever again for what ever they did wrong it’s crazy made me feel like it was all my fault when they screwed up and banned me from coming back

Experience was great and fast the move all first timers ahead of everyone. The staff was very polite and professional. I look forward to going back again. The payout was a very easy process as well taking only minutes to receive your money on a reloadable card.

I’ll just give the short version of my experience trying to donate through BPL Plasma. I spent 4 1/2 hours attempting to work with their registration team to fix their initial mistake of putting my social into their system incorrectly, which they claimed to fix on three separate occasions (it was still wrong when they sat me down in the chair and scanned my sheet every time). After the third time it was getting close to their closing time and I decided enough was enough and I’d try the following morning. When I arrived I was told that I would have to redo the entire process from registration, the screening and even the physical which would’ve taken hours once again. Perhaps management should take a more in depth look at their employees experience or take more time to ensure that they know what they’re doing so something as simple as inputting a social security number doesn’t turn more people away from trying to donate ever again.

There is a long wait most of the time. The phlebotomists are professional, kind, and competent. The compensation for donors is pretty good and shows an appreciation for donors’ times. Sometimes donors can be demanding, but generally it’s because of unrealistic expectations of the process
