I have given gallons and gallons of blood over my lifetime but Blood Assurance has called me a little too often for my liking to give again. I asked to be removed from their call list and then was promptly chastised for asking to be removed and not giving. Then hung up on me without letting me respond. Not very professional. That’s unfortunate as giving blood is important and necessary but this person didn’t make it easy for me to want to sign up the next time Blood Assurance is around. I will not give them my contact information again. Way too aggressive for my liking.

Absolutely recommend using Blood Assurance & this location, whether blood, plasma or platelets the experience is great. Staff is extremely friendly, will make you feel comfortable. Facility is clean as well.

Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism has turned me off from returning after I scheduled an appointment, received a confirmation email and then showed up to discover no one was at the location during operating hours without ever even giving me the courtesy of letting me know something had changed. In a world where many things can happen remote from home, including phone calls and emails, a professional courtesy would have been appropriate.
