I moved here from California where there was no where to donate. I lived there for 7 years. Prior to that I lived in Florida. I went to this facility now that I’m settled in living here. Yesterday I went to start my 1st donation process and I was turned away because they could not get in touch with the facility in Florida to confirm my donor status. After waiting 4 hours. Today I went back for them to start again. I got there at 830a and nobody had done anything for me until 1230. They didn’t even give me any paperwork or the binder or let me watch the videos or anything. I understand that it’s first come first serve but when there are things that have to be done (paperwork, watching videos) they could have give them to me while they figured things out. There were times throughout the day I was the only patron in the lobby and still nothing was being done to get me processed. After everything was confirmed and I was cleared to donate it was 1530 (330p) it took me about 40 minutes to actually donate. I was not allowed to eat or drink anything despite being there for over 5 hours and was told if I left I would be deferred for the day and would to come back another day.

Horrible experience!! Need better customer service skills for front desk staff. I went there at recommendation of a friend…1st time I was turned away because it was 1pm and too late to do new patient intake (although website hours list close at 7pm); okay fine understandable. 2nd time arrived at 11am got started on paperwork, physical/interview and then denied (again) because I couldn’t produce a receipt of my last tattoo/piercing, even though I told them it’s been over 1year! Who tf keeps receipts of their piercings/tattoos!! The website is very vague, should list specific requirements (like needing a damn receipt from you last tattoo that’s over 1year old), times available or cutoff time for new clients… I did try calling (beforehand) to ask questions but no one ever answered!! Needless to say this was a frustrating experience and an absolute waste of time!!

Everything was going okay till I got called in and they kept asking questions how long it’s been over 6 time’s and one of the employees was thinking i was lying about how long ago I been here. If this happens again I’m reporting them to they’re management.. Never in my life I have felt discouraged Uncomfortable in a place like this.

Yet another employee screw up that caused me to not donate. I was there for 3 hours, still waiting on a physical. I spent time and gas for nothing, all because employees are incompetent. They are so disorganized, and it is sad that donors have to make noise just to get people moving, rather than avoiding their job by chatting. This place is a joke, and will not get better unless they actually have managers that run the place instead of allowing employees to do whatever they want!

Absolutely worst business I’ve ever seen in my 30 years of life. Waited for 5 hours for a physical. A physical! There were only two other physicals ahead of me. I had alot of faith at the beginning, but that doesn’t keep me and my girlfriend fed tonight either. Maybe instead of “Compensating people for their time” like it states in the policies that you make us read, perhaps you should compensate everybody for WASTING their time.

I wasn’t impressed at all! First i went there and pretty much got called a liar by one of the staff member’s( badge name Veronica) REAL NAME MONICA. she said i lied about my address and put my stuff on hold so i couldn’t give blood. I was told i will get called back in a week due to my address being a meal sight for senior citizens and not my home which is all on the same street. It is a sight for them, but we all do have our own apartments and i thought I’d share a few photos to prove I’m not a liar! Once i get a call back by next week maybe my review will change!

Everyone has always been super nice! It does take a few hours your 1st time but that’s to be expected with the intake. If your adequately hydrated it goes much faster. It is cold but that’s due to the plasma removal process so YES do take a sweaters. Good luck. Blessings

I went as a first time donor, it was the worst experience at a plasma center I’ve ever been to. I waited over 3 hours to get my vitals checked and still had to wait to see the medical physician. 1st time going should be good but not at GRIFOLS! Very bad!! CSL plasma is the best place to go donate here in Albuquerque NM.

Well I liked this place at first and felt bad for the employees because they were short staffed, but I have NEVER seen so many people get turned away for the day because their blood pressure is high. I’ve myself have been turned away 3 times and as far as I know I don’t have high blood pressure., so I am wondering if their cuffs are a bit off.

Used to like this location a lot due to the staff but with their new policy to make an appointment.. its not worth it. Have an appointment at 6 and dont get called back till 7pm. Whats the point of an appointment if the intake is longer? Going to have to go back to csl. Not worth the hassel
