Chick working there totally missed my vein and caused a bruise. They deferred me for having “complications” and then when I was given the all clear, was told I couldn’t donate until the doctor approved, who apparently only shows up once a week for a short time. There’s other plasma centers that won’t waste your time as much as this one enjoys. All in all, spent about two hours waiting just to be told to come another time. Total waste of my time and gas money

This is by far the worst place to go to donate at. I have a ton of things. So one they change the sitting stuff to us having to stand. Okay but the thing is the screeners take forever to get to u. Secondly standing raises some people’s hearts ✋. But today by far is what drew the line for me. Normally when u have a bruise they send you home to get rid of it. But now there giving u an orange band saying that u can’t donate on that arm. Friday I went and they noticed it and they let me donate TODAY I go and this women checks my heart and everything it was perfect until she seen I had the bruise and she goes into a full panic we have to do a medical assessment we have to make sure she can donate. I’m taken back to the donation room where I’m up and down people sqeazing my arm to see if my veins are good on the other arm. Keep in mind that’s the arm I always donate in. They are having me up and down and making sure i can hear them saying can she donate with a bruise can she can she knowing that stresses someone out. I go back to the screening room and my heart was at. 123 she told me I couldn’t donate because my of my heart. I MISSED 115$ today because one person wanted to ruin everything i barly made it home. I used the rest of my gas to go and donate to find out I couldn’t donate. Y’all should start giving gas money to the people that waist it coming to donate and can’t. If I’m being honest there’s only a couple people in there anyways that are nice and treat u with respect the others act like they don’t wanna work. And give u an attitude. I love donating here as I get to help save lives while also putting money in my pocket! The staff is super friendly and fun to engage with! They keep the place clean and do a great job taking great care in there job in both how they run the facility and how they treat donors! I enjoy coming here and enjoy seeing the staff.
