GOL BOITOI
Thee SLOWEST most UNORGANIZED plasma center I’ve ever been to. You will spend 3 hours here minimum no matter what time you pull up. The center opens at 8am, I got here at 7:55AM and it is now 8:30am and not 1 nurse has arrived for their shift and not one of the donors have been called 30 minutes into opening. I have tried coming at all times of the day and there has never been a time where I’ve gotten out within 2 hours. Its also common for them to call you to a bed and FORGET that you’re there and not hook you up to a machine. Nothing is fluid about the process here and the entire Biomat Grifols or whatever they are called should be embarrassed. Only in New Orleans smh.

Please don’t waste your time going here!!! You will be waiting forever, every time I come to donate I am usually waiting 2 hours before I even get into a bed. The staff needs to be better trained, you have to call them MULTIPLE times just to get your funds loaded on to your card. Don’t waste your time coming here there are other places in the area with better staffs and better payouts and in safer areas.

When I first started donating it was great but lately it has been horrible. There is not sense of urgency. I arrived at 9am and it is now 11:30 and I’m still waiting in the lobby to be screened. They is one person screening and 6 others just standing around. Y’all need to hire more people and make sure the new people actually want to work

All of the workers at Biomat in New Orleans are amazing. They go above and beyond to help me whenever I come in. I believe the ladies deserve an incentive for working as hard as they do. A lot of people don’t realize that the ones that are helping them are usually working extra hours because some thoughtless fellow employees wanted the day off and left the rest of them to cover their job. So please be thoughtful of them

The only problem here is the wait after waiting a 1hr for screening it takes 2 more hours for them to actually call my name to get ona bed I get that people is in front of me and theirs going to be a wait but the beds be empty I saw at least 8 bed’s empty while the crew members laughing and joking the longest I been here was 6 hours longest I ever been at a plasma place at I walked out 3 times n just went to another center at CSL plasma the wait time is only 2 hours on a busy day they don’t play around I came here at 8am when they open and leave at 11-12 I sometimes run late to work it should not be that long of a wait it’s not worth the wait I have other things to do
